So what do we do now? I wish I had an answer. But recognizing the situation for what it is, and then making that as clear as possible, emphatically and every hour of every day, has to be part of the answer. The blow-up with Zelensky in the Oval Office should make this vital job a little easier.

Do I know he’s a Russian agent. No. But again, it’s the simplest explanation for his actions, and saying he is an agent of a foreign power does not in any way mean that he’s not also a bullying narcissist who enjoys inflicting pain and humiliation. Both can be true, and I think are.

As for him not seeming like a spy or agent, there’s no required code of conduct or appearance for agents. It’s worked for him—you could say that makes it a truly great cover.

The argument against this is that it sounds like conspiracy thinking, plus he doesn’t fit the picture of a Le Carre spy. As for conspiracy-thinking, well, yes, but such things do exist, especially with Russia, and many of Trump’s actions are way too unpopular to see a plausible other explanation.

They are the anti-farm party—Those AID cuts, a lot of that was for food aid that U.S. farms provided. Doing your taxes and have a question?—better hire an accountant because IRS help centers are closing. Just please—say all this stuff and more. And by say, I mean SHOUT.

Elon Musk is awarding himself contracts right and left. Of course, if some bank or finance firm screws you—well, don’t look to the gov for help anymore, cause that’s not happening. The GOP is opposed to a strong U.S. military—look at the cuts they’re planning.

They are the anti-Veterans party (massive cuts for VA). That vacation to a National Park—forget about it (massive cuts there too). Clean air and water—so long to that, given cuts the GOP is proposing. But hello corruption—just buy your Trump meme coins and any crime is forgiven.

The GOP is the anti health-care and hospitals party, the pro-Dictator party (Putin and the rest). They’re the cut-social-security-and-essential-services-to-give-billionaires-a-payday party, the pro-disaster party (cutting FEMA). That’s what you say, every day, every hour.

Hi Chuck. NY voter here, long-time Dem. Writing to say this: we are way past the time for bipartisanship. Right now, you and every other elected Dem, have to say this: the GOP is the pro-cancer party (cutting research just when it’s paying off); the pro-measles party.

Using taxpayer money to pay for condoms for foreigners maybe sounds bad (not to me), but if you think about it, wouldn’t it have been wonderful if Elon Musk’s parents had had access to effective contraception whenever it was, fifty years or so ago?

You’ve got to grow a spine and oppose Trump in every possible way. Okay he was elected. He’s president. But more importantly, he evil and criminal to his core, and you need to display some courage in responding to that. Or get the hell out of the way

Look forward to universal verdict—from media, GOP elders, really everyone—that this conclusively proves he is cognitively unfit for job of Presidency and must pre-emptively resign; failing that, 25th Amendment removal at noon sharp Jan. 20, 2025. This is obvious, right?
