You knew. I should have known. I guess hope got the best of me. 😞 I also live in a liberal section of a liberal suburb of a liberal city in a liberal state… the excitement here for Kamala was misleading. 😞

Oof. 😓 Gosh, that seems true. 😢😡

I was shocked when Kamala lost… but then it dawned on me that if we couldn’t get a white woman elected POTUS, a Black woman never had a chance. I really fuckin hate how racist & sexist this shithole country is.

It’s already a high stress job w/ a lot of hours in a small dark box. If you fire people’s coworkers, make those who stay fear they’re next, require more hours (gotta make up for those fired), and mess with their healthcare (a large % of air controllers are vets)… it’s probably not gonna go great. 😰

I’m sure it’s a matter of time til we hear “those soulless libs are crashing planes on purpose to make 45 look bad!”

"Well, THAT will definitely bring down the price of eggs," she muttered to herself as she walked into the sea.

Nobody said anything about Starlink, as you’d know if you had read the article.

She released a memo right after the speech that because she did it as a floor speech, it is covered under the speech and debate clause so she can’t be sued for libel.

Discovering that this was a thing made my life make so much more sense. It amazes me now that I accepted my old experience as normal. “Everybody probably feels this way, they just cope better.” Little did I know.

I thought this was just how everyone felt!! omg I have to reflect on this now

I spent decades living like this, detached and unreal and I thought it was normal. Then when I started HRT, the distance between myself and my body just vanished, nearly overnight. It was incredible. Losing HRT and going back into that pit of non-existence is a terrifying thought. It would kill me.

Of course she did it in a speech on the house floor and immediately followed it up with a memo that it’s covered under the speech and debate clause. In other words, “you can’t sue me for libel!”

That way it’s covered under the speech and debate clause and she can’t be sued for libel.
