There's the Chthonic Codex from @lostpages.bsky.social which describes itself as being about "apprentice wizards trying to graduate from magic university without being too endangered by the whims of their reckless teachers." Broken up into 3 big sections covering monsters, magic and mysteries.

Technically more of a Dice Friends thing since it's an RPG, but Slugblaster seems like it's so up your alley that I have to mention it -- it's got Spiderverse and Steven Universe tone mixed with the Edmonton skater culture that the creator grew up in, plus lots of gunky slugs of course.
