I enjoy gardening, reading, getting myself in DIY trouble, and voraciously petitioning my government for a redress of grievances.

There will be no consequences. The only change is that these people will just be a little better at hiding their inappropriate actions

Do something about it. You're the minority leader. LEAD. Convince Collins and Murkowski to start sounding the alarm bells.

I think you mean the Far Reich. We all saw Musk.

It's a false choice. Trading one version of propaganda for another is still consuming propaganda.

Credible criticisms of the US government can be found all over the place. I'm sorry you experienced harassment because nobody deserves that. But recognize that these algorithms are designed by brilliant engineers to send you the feel-good chemicals to keep you hooked.

I assure you, China doesn't have your best interests in mind. Ask the Uyghurs how much the government cares about them. They love the sweatshops and concentration camps. You think China has anywhere close to the level of freedom of speech and expression? Get a grip.

People are barely scraping by. A person working 2 full time jobs at federal minimum wage would make about $30k, which is approximately the standard deduction for joint filing. Someone supporting their family and can't afford childcare pays roughly nothing in income tax, but still pays FICA taxes

Very bold of you to imply the absence of American government interference means no government interference. China controls the algorithm, not you.

Those families make so little money that the standard deduction is more than the amount they have paid. Trump's tax bill established that standard deduction so be mad at him.
But yes, let's tax those who have nothing. Very pro-working class of you. You literally don't know what you're talking about.

It's not propaganda, just literally a report of factual information relevant to the composition of Congress.

I applaud your sentiment, sir. But the reality is that the current trajectories of these programs are not sustainable without some sort of reform. Trump doesn't actually care about anyone who needs these, and they will eventually fail and leave millions in the cold. A path forward needs to be found.

I am always excited when I hear you're in a week's Politicology episode. Happy to learn from your perspective somewhere that isn't a toxic cesspool like Twitter!
