Makes sense. Red states build houses, blue states don't.

Expenses with childcare are *not* stable.

I'm 34! (Which makes sense, given www.nytimes.com/2024/03/02/b...)

Sounds nice theoretically. When is it being applied to Florida and North Carolina? - SoCal res. 1.5 miles from Eaton fire.
I'm fine with disaster aid coming with strings, but not if there are only conditions for blue states.
I'd be really happy if the aid forces better rebuilding (YIMBY!)

30 year old me bought the lab diamond to propose within early 2021. No regrets.
Distinguishing between natural and lab diamond will only matter to people who can afford that distinction.

I've got FOMO for the gains I missed by not going QQQ, but as they say, "Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered."

With the small sample size, you could just as easily say Biden beating Trump was the aberration due to the pandemic, and that we basically have 2-term Trump.
Does the public look for change inherently, or only if the president is Trump or an ancient Biden? Extrapolating since 2016 is precarious.

Can Trump get the marginal representatives, i.e., the NY and CA representatives, to walk the plank? Probably not without some sort of carrot for them, i.e., SALT.

My bet is that whichever Democrat can convincingly promise effective government will win. Similar impulse as with Biden winning, but someone younger and who will ask the country to make fiscal sacrifices necessary to address the debt and dwindling social security trust fund.

Trump caring about the stock market might cause him to change course?

I've always said I'll follow you (not to sound weird), so here I am. I've enjoyed the broad range of takes on economics, real estate, sports, and elections greatly. Its usually like - yep, that's a reasonable take.
