I’m just a strong man with tears in my eyes Standing in front of a president Asking him to realize “Sir, you’re thinking of Al Capone’s vault.”

I mean, I did a good job for y’all on the Fortnite comics, right? Did they sell or didn’t they? Yeah they did. Okay, tell you what, give me Devil Dinosaur/Kamandi and we’re good. I won’t even bring up no one calling me about the Godzilla stuff. Aww yeah, that’s right.

Movies you've watched more than six times, gifs only

This is the point. To break as many things as irreparably as possible as quickly as possible before being stopped by either courts or midterms or public outcry. If eventually forced to reinstate the eliminated positions, many will have moved on (gotta pay rent), so they put in loyalists.

This is a BEAUTIFUL issue. If you liked Mark Buckingham's art on Fables, Miracleman, or any number of other lovely things, you should really check it out. Fights! Demons & Monsters! JUGGERNAUT! NOTHING SHOULD STOP YOU!! (It's really Juggernaut vs the other X-Men though. Not much Spidey.)

Recently added to the Essential Sequential site! This tense Superior Spider-man page from issue 11. Pencils by @mikehawthorneart.bsky.social and inks by @wadevongrawbadger.bsky.social Anyone else uncomfortable? essentialsequential.com/product/supe... @sequenceart.bsky.social

I often joke about being on the Wally Wood retirement plan, but maybe it’s not a joke after all.

Anybody else huff cats? Especially their bellies? I also huff vintage comics. Totally different buzz but equally worth it.

It’s “Gulf of Doom”. Get it right.

It was my privilege to participate in LA STRONG, a benefit comic whose proceeds go to fellow creator victims of the fires. My words were paired with a terrific image by Janet Sung. Check out this creator lineup! Final order cutoff is 2/24, release 3/19. Don't miss it!

It was a huge honor to be a part of this. I’ve been a Richard Corben fan for 40 years (and got to work with him once!). These collections are lovingly put together by the Corben family, @josevillarrubia.bsky.social and Dark Horse…do not miss them if you’re a fan of awesomeness!

Ok someone must be able to hook me up with Paul McCartney tickets for tonight. I’ll reciprocate in some heretofore unknown way! I promise!

Damn! Thanks everyone for your support!

And here we go, laying the groundwork to come after Social Security.

Peak awesomeness.

One of my favorite career highlights: seeing my name on a cover made up of the names of all the writers and artists who’ve worked on AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. I’m toward the top, a bit below my writing hero Roger Stern. Whenever I’m asked to sign this I need a moment to remind myself it’s real.

Hey, does anyone here know the current official backstory of MERA in the comics? Y'know, the Queen of Atlantis? I know her hometown wasn't in another dimension anymore, but was she still supposed to kill Aquaman? I am confused. And I humbly beg you, only weigh in if you know for sure. Thanks!

Just realized I did my entire grocery shopping with my driving glasses on my face and my computer glasses hanging from my collar. (Yes, they’re two different things. Getting old rules.) Now everyone thinks I’m a glasses hoarder.

In my day, we had 3rd Bass to deal with apartheid South Africans by giving them a little something we called the “gas face”.

Buy real estate as soon as you are realistically able to afford it. If I could trade my college degree for a house I would.

Congratulations to Jeff Trammell and the entire #YourFriendlyNeighborhoodSpiderMan team on the big debut day! I’ve seen the first few episodes and they’re fantastic…enjoy! (P.S. there’s a special treat for fans of my comics work…)

And, several days late: Choose 20 comics that have stayed with you or influenced you. One comic per day for 20 days, in no particular order. No explanations, no reviews, just covers. Day 20 Given how bad I was at keeping up with this, I probably shouldn’t do it again.

Want to see some gorgeous Mark Buckingham art from our Juggernaut focused issue of Amazing Spider-Man #68.DEATHS?
