It seems more like the Nazi-Soviet Pact. Putin and MAGA divide the spoils.

They should have done it at halftime.

What a jackass.

So true.

You should be pissed. Keep it up.

I think voters already rejected that line of argument. They’re convinced Trump is a populist.

It’s due to more than just a Biden-appointed judge. It was a moronic and ill-considered act that was illegal on many levels. I’d like to think any judge would have done the same (well, except maybe Aileen Cannon).

The Minnesota Wild should be required to win a Stanley Cup before there is any discussion of public funding. Since that will never happen, they’ll need to find another way to finance the renovations.

Yawn

It’s been one week. The resistance is growing with each outrageous act. What Trump and his thugs are doing will not stand.

I didn’t realize MAGA people could read.

More copies for the rest of us!

I’m with you, Lakota Man. Trump and his supporters have the upper hand for now, but what he is doing will not stand.
comment in response to post
Ha! Trump is going to have a meltdown over this.
comment in response to post
Yep. I’m also sick of the State Farm commercials, the Hy-Vee commercials, the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift story, the constant bogus roughing the passer calls in favor of Mahomes, and pretty much everything else about the Chiefs.
comment in response to post
Trump’s supporters will never blame him for anything, even if his policies backfire disastrously. On the other hand, the non-MAGA voters who backed Trump in the election might see the light.

To the Buffalo Bills: Please do the rest of the world a favor and eliminate Kansas City from the playoffs. Thanks in advance.

Exactly. I decided to do Dry January in the worst January ever.

Good perspective!

The worst part is that America handed itself over to the Nazis
comment in response to post
They will never learn. They’ll just blame the liberals for the MAGA government failures.

Love it!

I wouldn’t mind watching them beat the Yankees in the World Series again.

Push for another.

The Chiefs are a great team, which is why those bogus calls are so frustrating. You have to play a perfect game to beat them, and the refs make it impossible.
comment in response to post
The Chiefs would’ve gotten away with it.
comment in response to post
Exactly. The Commanders couldn’t stop the run. They were only down 10 when they tried that Jameson Williams gimmick.

Who cares

The Jets defense got worse once Saleh got fired. I’m not sorry to see Ulbrich go to the Falcons. Saleh is the obvious answer for the 49ers.
comment in response to post
Not to worry, the refs are on your side.

Bottom line is that no one is going to root for the Lions over their opponents simply because Tom Brady talks up Ben Johnson during the game. And Tom Brady is not there to protect gamblers. This whole thing is a non-issue, in my opinion.
comment in response to post
One way it could cause harm is if Brady could interview Johnson as part of his announcer prep and get access to him that other owners can’t (until the playoffs are over). But I thought the NFL said Brady can’t do those types of interviews due to his involvement with the Raiders.

Nailor needs to make that block

Exactly

I completely agree. KO just can’t seem to adapt to what the defense is doing. The short passing game was non-existent in Detroit, even though we were getting killed by the blitz.
comment in response to post
I think the interior of the o-line is a major weakness for the Vikings. They can’t run block, and they are easily confused by stunts. They couldn’t adapt to Detroit’s blitzes last week. I agree that Darnold was a huge part of the problem, but I don’t think the line played well at all.
comment in response to post
We need to improve the interior of our offensive line. And the o-line did not look well-coached these past couple of weeks.

It was a good run.

The good book I’m currently reading is about climate change, so I’m doomscrolling either way.

Please run for president.

He’s probably right, but there have been plenty of worrying times in America. Many terrible things have happened here. Many good things and many terrible things.

He’s done a great job at Penn State. This is a misuse of statistics.

Bring Saleh back! It’s a no-brainer.
comment in response to post
Maybe, but I’m tired of the NBA’s relentless over-marketing of superstars and would-be superstars. I don’t want every game to be about LeBron James or Steph Curry. I can’t stand that narrative.

Correction: It’s called The Outlier: The Unfinished Presidency of Jimmy Carter
comment in response to post
I just started An Unfinished Presidency by Kai Bird. It’s great so far, but it’s too early for me to say it’s the best. Might be worth checking out though.
