He also said that he left Coen “on read”. That seems cut out in this angle.

US-based. They don't want these folks (and their benefit packages) any more. Next step is laying them off and replacing them overseas.

Microsoft is always trying these tricks. 20 years ago it was putting in an Office key in that spot, more recently, it was an Emoji key. That is fine, as long as I can get back to the original purpose of the key.

Coen has a total of 5 years NFL experience. A 15-19 record as a OC in two non-consecutive seasons. Sean McVay had 8 consecutive seasons of NFL experience. The years Coen was NOT on Sean McVay's staff? They had winning seasons. The year Coen was OC? 5-12.

Weird. On my mobile client, the video doesn't show.

Nathaniel Hacket and Adam Gase had 4-5x the amount of experience in the NFL than Coen. Even Sean McVay had 7 consecutive (8 total) years in the NFL before becoming a HC.

Is there a recent successful HC coach with as little experience as him? Never been a HC at any level. 2 non-consecutive seasons as a NFL OC with a record of 15-19 is sketchy. Asking such a guy to pick the GM of your team is also weird.

But the fact that he did the same thing to Holy Cross and the University of Kentucky and their fanbase - ditching them after verbally agreeing to a deal. Even using the same words in his Jax presser about settling down and roots, and family, as he did in his UK presser is just pathological.

Sure, $12M over 3-5 years was more than the Bucs were offering. Good for him. He agreed to the Bucs deal, then ghosted the team. But saying the reason was because he was with his kid, and that he was GOING to travel to Jax when he was already there was straight up BS and wasn't necessary.

Thank you. I’ll stay off the bandwagon and watch from a far. Coen is an excellent OC. But he’s also a duplicitous snake. He lied to Univ. of Kentucky fans, and to Bucs fans. No one begrudges him getting paid. I think it’s weird the amount of money the Bucs and Jags were willing to pay.

Bucs fan and I sincerely wish the Jags success. I’m going to follow this account. I want to see how it goes.

At least he’s consistent in jumping around each season.

Of course, anyone is free to get a better situation for themselves. Lying about it and invoking a sick kid as an excuse is the problem here.

Lying Scumbag Stadium has a nice ring to it.

It’s funny until you bring your kid into it and claim he’s sick and that’s why I’m not coming in to sign the huge multi-year contract to stay.

No one is saying he should turn down a big pay day. Just be honest and don’t lie about your kid being sick.

He is not a pirate

Lot of people surprised except for Kentucky fans who this man had in a mental blender two different offseasons. Coen does whatever he wants. Perfect for Jacksonville.
