If someone is doing it beside me on transit, I will make a big show of leaning over to watch it with them. It’s probably how I will die.

This biracial boss babe moved into a room on the third floor of her husband’s crumbling English manor!

Like, if one of the recurring conceits of the episode is that Murdoch keeps hearing a distinctive melody, I should be able to remember the melody the next day.

I actually thought Murdoch Mysteries could have nailed it and it’s really bumming me out that they whiffed it so badly.

WIES gave most of the singing to Julia and Crabtree and that was a problem. If your best singers are Higgins and Violet, then Higgins and Violet had better be the emotional centre of the episode.

And the actors who can’t sing need to get fun comedy numbers or elaborate dance sequences, ie. “I’ll Never Tell” and “Dawn’s Ballet” respectively.

I watched “Once More With Feeling” afterwards as a palate cleanser and it made the issues with “Why Is Everyone Singing?” very clear. First, LET THE BEST SINGERS IN THE CAST DRIVE THE EPISODE. OMWF let Giles, Tara, and Spike have the big emotional moments because those actors could sing.

Colin Mochrie is here and he’s garrotting Julia. The hero we need.

Daniel Maslany has a lovely voice because of course he does.

Shut up, Julia.

Anyway, this continues to be proof that a Violet, Watts, and Higgins spinoff is necessary.

Thomas Craig is really fucking going for it at least.

Shanice Banton has the voice of an angel. She is the only one.

If you ever wanted to see an autotuned Johnny Harris fuck up some step-touch choreography, has the CBC got something for you!

Beautiful little pitbull thing. I hope she’s in a good situation.

I stayed nearby until her owner finally came out of the store. Some dudebro idiot who didn’t even acknowledge her.

Puppy was tied up outside a store (so she was shivering and terrified) and her leash was directly attached to her collar. Every time she strained against the leash, she’d get tangled and choke.

The rest of us can get fired for the till being a few bucks short or being late for a shift but Ontario cops can shoot a baby in the face with zero consequences and I think that’s beautiful.

Cool cool cool. Perfect organization. Great stuff. No notes.

It is especially cool to know they’re completely free to do it even if they’re *checks notes* literally supposed to be rescuing said baby from an abductor.

I am surprised the victorious queen has made it this far but I am enjoying her so, so much.

Sooooooooo good.

You don’t have to *care* but like, being *happy* about it is kinda weird.

Like, William seems vaguely shitty. Kate’s just kind of there. There are actual villains in that family. Hate them.
