Become blood flowing in their veins? Do they go from not needing to eat to needing it? When Cole becomes more human than spirit hunger has to be a part of it right? That’s one of the MAIN things living is have about themselves. But Cole bleeds blood why would he start not needing to eat?

I personally see it as a connection to the fade? Like this other world the characters don’t understand is still part of the world and is very prevalent. That even with the veil still standing it’s always there.
