It's probably a good time to raise backyard chickens, for those who have a back yard.
Their eggs are also amazing when they eat wild insects instead of a "vegetarian diet" - they're naturally omnivores. Yolks are orange instead of yellow.

Do your own research online before putting the burden of educating you onto those already carrying a heavier load than you.

If something discussed causes you pain or discomfort, especially someone more marginalized is referring to how they've been harmed, sit with that silently - don't interrupt.
Think about WHY it feels that way. Resist justifying or reframing the narrative to center yourself or the source of the Harm.

Large groups need to develop vetting & onboarding committees, if they don't already have, especially for those not vouched for by a comrade in good standing.
It also helps to have formal Community Agreements, a primer on anti-prejudice & inverting privilege.
