Nope.
Only an investor in or a shill for CO2 reduction says that.
We'll be lucky just to slow & reverse CO2 production.

Apple took a step back from the massive-stupidity cliff. At least one senior manager still has a long view.
Don't need LLM methods at all, do need encrypted, on-device only.

Local land trusts usually deploy their cash and in-kind resources more efficiently; fewer staff at HQ, lower travel budget, lower marketing budget....

. . . and the Whisper interface.
. . . and n dimensions of continuous sensing, feeding continuous pattern recognition
Don't need cloud 'ai', and woudn't ever want one's continuous personal sensor data off-device in any event

Your scenario would require Meta & Google to do human-centered design.

it's a stunning mishmosh of inadequacy, poor judgement, confidence, and un-centered design.

One reason (of several):
Cos it's not personal, doesn't focus on just continuously accreting the user's context, in time becoming useful by doing continuous pattern recognition on that data to deliver slightly predictive awareness.
All on-device, all encrypted.
Little to no need for LLMs.
