I'd be curious to hear stories from engineers who built/are building #ElixirLang applications and decided that specific components should be written in Erlang: which ones, why, how. Thanks!

Yesterday I upgraded a small #ElixirLang Phoenix LiveView application from Tailwind v3 to Tailwind v4. Two resources helped: - Hex package upgrade docs at github.com/phoenixframe... - This gist: gist.github.com/frankdugan3/...

We start in two hours! #ElixirLang

On my way to watch Fish for his farewell tour. A few years ago I wrote about what his music means to me claudio-ortolina.org/posts/fish/ #music #progrock

I flunked an interview yesterday, and I think it boiled down to how I answered a specific question. A reminder that interviewing is a skill, and that it's ok to make mistakes. I'll do better next time.

Woohooh! The next #ElixirLang London Meetup is scheduled for Feb 27 - see www.meetup.com/elixir-londo....

Does anyone have/know of an app which can show me where I can buy CDs based on an Apple Music playlist? e.g. I have a playlist on Apple Music and I want to buy all albums included in the playlist on a physical CD 💿. #Music #CD #IndieDev

A lot of blog posts nowadays have a “Conclusion” paragraph which seems unnecessary.

@lpil.uk in your presentation yesterday you had a board with things to build/write about for gleam (e.g. rendering a simple PDF). Is that public? Open for contributions?

Back from @codebeam.bsky.social London and feeling inspired #ElixirLang.

@peterullrich.com you might be aware already but your website throws a 403 when trying to open it.

I've started working on the material for a course on diagnosing and solving performance issues in #ElixirLang applications, and one difficult challenge is replicating issues with load testing.

#ElixirLang devs - what are you using for performance metrics? Telemetry + Prometheus + Grafana? StatsD + Datadog? Something else?

I think antitrust is not enough to deal with the tech industry. We need - and I know this era isn't one where we get it - a digital EPA, with quality standards for apps/digital services with personal liability for executives and real, meaningful mechanisms to force companies to stop hurting people.
