not trying to be wholly dismissive, but typically when people talk about leftist purity tests the examples they provide are either microscopic social media accounts arguing over language/semantics, or high-profile pundits being chastised for transphobia.

seems like it used to be that the 45-yo career politician would begin mentoring a young upstart so they could retire at a reasonable age while passing on wisdom/experience. now they just cling to their seat until they die. so much institutional knowledge lost.

people who use ebt/snap already supplement their grocery bills with their own money. all this will do is make people go through the checkout line twice. pretty obvious to anyone not blinded by their hatred of the poor.

I'm surprised they haven't been IDed yet. These guys are someone's racist cousin or a former roommate's asshole ex. Sooner or later their names are gonna come out, at least you would hope.

My biggest gripe is how a show will have a dramatic music sting followed by a cut to black, but that's not where the ad block starts. The ad block starts in the middle of a scene or even during dialogue. Max is the worst offender.

There is a quick scene in the first episode (Copano speculating about the shooter corridor on the map) that I thought could have come straight out of a Department of Truth comic.

It really is embarrassing to make a typo and not be able to edit after publishing. Imagine how embarrassing it would be to execute the wrong person for a crime and not have an "undo" button.

If it's really important to you to die in a shootout instead of getting arrested or lynched, fine. Maybe there is honor in that. Just don't delude yourself that a gun is going to save your life.

I see people accusing the author of that article of being a fed and friends I hate to break it to you but a fed would be far more likely to encourage minorities to buy guns than to not buy guns

I've noticed that recently all of the grammatical suggestions auto-correct make are completely wrong.

My experience is that I had friends who never talked politics, got swept up in Berniemania2016, and then returned to never talking politics again. They didn't turn republican, they checked out entirely
The demo that became eligible to vote in 2016. I wish dems made an attempt to capture that energy

I need them to make custom vibration patterns so when I'm working outside with my hands I can tell if it's my partner or dad calling me, and not one of 50 scam calls I get daily.
At least you can set them up with a $3 app.
