Me too! Tulsi Gabbard was the starting point. He also converted to Catholicism as an adult after being an atheist most of his life. And he’s got some concerning feelings about who gets bodily autonomy and who doesn’t. I wonder if he was always that way or if he actually changed?

The luddites get a bad rep, but they weren't anti-technology - they were anti-exploitation. The looms wiped out an entire specialised workforce, and society had no safety net for people who spent their lives dedicated to a skill that had been made obsolete through no fault of their own.
