Working in the building / fire industry i can understand the confusion folks might have seeing such things - but they are both there based on specific reasons/requirements
The stairs are required for egress in case of emergency & homes typically fall under a residential code (that is less strict)

Very disappointing
I have definitely made it a point to call out poor behavior in the kink spaces that i exist in (inflation and plush for example) but some kink spaces extend past furry so it can be hard to weed that out - especially in larger categories like rubber or BDSM
