An older woman, describing how her husband’s eyes bugged out seeing a very attractive woman recently, told me of him, “There may be snow on the roof but there’s still fire in the furnace” and I snickered all day thinking about that expression. Our patients are the best.

Wish I had an answer! Mostly I like inbox messages because the whole exchange becomes part of the chart, rather than having to write a summary of a call, BUT barrier so low for pts to ask they can ask more than if they had to call or wait until visit, but we aren’t given extra time to answer.
