Oh fuck off. This is pennies compared to the endless numbers of human lives that have been and will continue to be tossed into the shredder to enrich the billionaire class, who feed off human suffering. Don't act like you give a shit.

Margaret Killjoy has some of my favorite short stories. She has a way of writing hope and warmth. She has just a great prose that is so fun and lively, but also soft and reposed. www.akpress.org/we-wont-be-h...

The one liners from Stormlight are Tolkien level of legendary. The Knights Radiant and the Dalinar musings are just 👨‍🍳🤌🔥

Legitimately one of the best authors of all time. At least in my mind. No one else can consistently put out 1k+ pages of rock solid material every year. My personal inspiration.

History has showed us time and time again that liberal establishment will side with fascists if it keeps them in power.

The sword was black beyond black, the sheerest lack of light of anything Starrhys had ever seen. It seemed as deep as the midnight sky and provided the instinctual comfort of being concealed from predators in primeval darkness. Purple spots of energy throughout its length were slow and deliberate

Personally I've always found it to be the better system but none of my friends want to switch yet 😭

Thus the Pathfinder prophecy will be fulfilled (as it should be)

Consul Nory faces down a hivemind god as it siphons arcane energy straight from the nexus and single-handedly turns the tide of a losing siege. All this while fighting wave after wave of hundreds of dopplegangers in a blind rage

"Tusrun." To his own surprise, Ritnoan's voice was not booming and threatening like he wanted it to be. It was soft, hurt. He wanted to jump to his feet and fight. He wanted to scream out his rage and his bitter grief but he didn't have the breath for it.

Does it count if I'm in the Louisville Metro but technically not in KY?

Don't be ludicrous! The real best way forward is to reduce all royalty percentages by 5% to afford ChatGPT Enterprise so it can write all the blurbs, inside covers and press releases (and maybe replace a few authors while we're at it...) I have no faith in the mainstream publishing industry

Welp I'm sold. That's a great sentence

Yeah something about them is just so satisfying. The juxtaposition between soaring ethereal vocals and the gutturals is just choice

Great choice for gym music honestly. 'Rule of Nines' makes me feel like I could run into the sun

Been struggling a lot, wondering if any of this is worth it. Thank you for your wisdom!

Too bad they are gonna bee line right to the department store and return it for store credit

"This Trojan horse for tropes is actually really a nuanced character and beautiful and perfect in every way" - me to every character

Absolutely soulless drivel is the best thing that AI can produce. Fluffy nothing with no ability to create plot lines or remember nuances. Hallmark movie plots look like Kubrick compared to the level of sophistication that AI works on.

I wanna do a Pagemaster into this aesthetic forever

But what if I find the *one* secret thing seven years from now and the project is my big break??

Most major news outlets are owned by conservative billionaires, unfortunately. They will be well insulated from the inevitable recession and/or depression that is to come.

Never ever tune to AM talk show radio if you value your sanity. I once heard a host claim that Donald Trump was a time traveler because there's pictures of people who look like him a long time ago

If it's old enough you could call this special connection a seance of sorts. Just casually aligning your spirit with the long dead.

Definitely won't cause a backlog of partials like an infinitely fractalizing feedback loop of doom and stress... I'm not speaking from first hand experience or anything...

I have to add this to the list of classics that I read to my kids. The Hobbit is a big hit so far
