You know what would **really** disrupt the publishing industry?
Fair contracts and decent pay for authors.
No AI training without the creator’s consent.
Artists and translators on the cover.
No NDAs for ghostwriters.

I have no faith in the mainstream publishing industry
I have (and think others have) a base assumption of creator gets credit. To get to where ghost writing is accepted and not viewed as exploitative + disingenuous for the person taking credit, there's got to be reasons.
What are those reasons for you, if you don't mind?
BOOK TITLE
by A. Famous Person
on the cover. Presumably they *did* contribute something to work (that is usually the case). But co-writer(s) should also be listed somewhere.
No editing of AI-produced material.
No publishing of AI-produced material (except in the context of discussing AI)
And no use of AI when writing.
So a "No AI" compact is clearly too broad. A different phrasing might be required.
So I think there are places generative AI can be useful to writers.
To earn that 6k, i write/related, at least 30 hours a week, on top of a full-time job and two young kids.
(but I'm preachin' to the choir here, ain't I)
I love to flick between the two, depending on where I am reading.
