We've seen managers refuse to single out players even when they have standout games, presumably so as not to appear to have favourites, but I have to say, if my manager publicly praises my team mate, I'd want to push harder so that I'm the one he's talking about next!

Fact is the US economy is doing fairly well. Could it be that we're in a new era where economy good = business good? Where companies are keeping all the profits and not passing them down to the labourers? Either that or they're told they're broke so often by the right they started believing it 🤷
