“Just faulty brakes” I know it’s flat in Burnaby, but it’s still in the province with the friggin’ mountains! 😳

I tend to use the Report button a lot. I have no idea whether it has any actual effect in the broader sense, but it usually reduces the pollution on my personal feed.

That’s terrible news. I had the great good fortune to find myself seated at a lunch table with him at an APA meeting a number of years ago. We had a wonderful conversation. He was deeply knowledgable and passionate about passing on his knowledge.
He truly will be missed. It’s our job to carry on .

“quickly permitting fusion reactors”
in my grade 5 social studies class I created a city plan with a small fusion reactor to generate all of the power that the city and surrounding areas would need, because fusion reactors “were only a few years away”. I’m now 64 and fusion is just as far away.

Possibly a cap in the PS. Might be some in parallel, and one of them blew. If so , the other is taking up the load and won’t last long.

Well, @profbriancox.bsky.social and @robinince.bsky.social, I’ve just started listening to the latest episode of ‘Monkey Cage’ that’s available here in Canada and I know why you’re having so much trouble building that cage.
You shouldn’t have settled on a builder who specialises in hotels.

I love that building. As you walk by it feels like you're walking by a medieval fortress.

Flag trifecta!
To be honest though, as diver, I can confirm that there’s *always* a shark about (in salt water, at least) you just haven’t “sighted” it yet!

Not in my experience, the nuclear block option that exists here tends to squash them extremely quickly.

I think the growth on BSky does an uptick each time EM does something egregiously obnoxious (esp to the users). Post on Xitter but redirect to here, to help boost engagement?
