Made a new category on the website "Gay Stuff" to collate some of our various.... gay stuff. Any of the minis can be whatever you like of course, these are the especially LGBTQI ones, and the pride dice (which I need to restock!) Also historically informative! badsquiddogames.com/shop#!/Gay-S...

What I like about role-playing games is that they allow you to act out power fantasies that you could never achieve in real life.

So, the EHRC guidance is both grim and contrary to the law, both UK law and international law. The political effect is (deliberately) awful, but actually following it will open organisations to legal action both in the UK and at the European level. We'll keep pushing back, for as long as necessary.

In the UK, there is still no law that stops trans people from using the toilets that match their gender. That includes after the UK Supreme Court ruling on 16 April 2025, which the usual suspects are already trying to twist into a bathroom ban. 👉🏻 tacc.org.uk/2025/04/23/t...

Dear Universe. I should like to have more energy for table top games and toy soldiers, a world where current events aren’t filling my social media timelines with the fallout from Trump and TERFs, and sinuses that aren’t loaded up with con crud. These things are related.

Statement from us on today's ruling: "As LGBT+ Liberal Democrats... we don't think Britain is the sort of country where people should have to show their 'papers, please' in order to use the loo. ...we do not support efforts to legislate in ignorance to enforce conformity." 🔶🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🧡

We are studying today's judgement by the UK Supreme Court. Nothing they rule will change our solidarity with the trans+ community and with everyone who seeks to live their lives under control of their own bodies, and free from poverty, ignorance or conformity.

My statement on today's ruling. First and foremost, to all other trans people: look after yourselves.

Unnecessarily complex. The amount of private data you'll have to share with private companies on an ongoing basis to access basic utilities feels frustrating. Why not just use the tax system to fund green levies and social tariffs if that's necessary? www.theguardian.com/money/2025/a...

Just watched the Home Counties private schoolboy Nigel Farage telling northern voters how he understands steelworkers because he used to work in the “metals business” himself. He was, ahem, a commodities trader at the London Metal Exchange in the City.

On the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, we thought we'd answer a question that's often asked, "If they raised the Mary Rose, why not raise the Titanic?" Allow our scaled diagram to explain...

Today was #Salute52 so I saw many #minuatures and #wargames I'm now shattered so I shall drop a link to the photos I took and then slump semi-comatose on the sofa of reasonable comfort. www.flickr.com/photos/dorwa...

Lovely Roman camp in 2mm completed ready for our Beneventum Strength and Honour game at Salute. Table GM10. #spreadthelard

It’s hard to overstate how sickening the concept of ‘opting out’ is here. It’s like having to go to individual criminals and fill out a form to opt out of their right to steal from you. Artists are *already* at a disadvantage trying to enforce their rights over their work against big companies.

"It was a good plan" says person who clearly did not have a plan. www.superheumann.com/post/my-year...

My Iron Warriors playing friend is threatening to buy the new #Warhammer40000 Noise Marines.

And that's it, we're gone. Evicted with 28 days notice, tonight the Marcus Garvey and Lenton Business Centre will be a ghost town. Its been a home to many wargames companies over the year and no doubt will be sold to developers. Solidarity and strength to our neighbours 💗

The most impactful place for Victoria Crosses is museums in the locality where the recipients were from. Those museums can contextualize them to their community, and give time to the story behind them. Every time I've seen that done, it's been ace. They don't exist for Ashcroft to play Pokémon.

The Lord-Vigilant on his sinister, brooding Gryph-Stalker. Took a bit longer over him than I thought I would, but really happy with the result. Very moody and opressive

Scottish Labour conference have voted to reject a motion to back the Cass Review and scrap Scottish Government guidance on supporting young trans people. Whatever anti-trans route the leadership is on, the membership do not agree.
