Donald Trump Was Recruited by the KGB Under Codename 'Krasnov' Claims Former Soviet Spy Chief – Byline Times bylinetimes.com/2025/02/21/d...

Labour promised change - but voters aren’t feeling it. Meanwhile, Reform UK is filling the gaps left by austerity, Covid, and Brexit. If Labour doesn’t step up locally, the radical right will. Read Georgina Laming on why that matters.

Donald Trump Was Recruited by the KGB Under Codename ‘Krasnov’ Claims Former Soviet Spy Chief A former senior KGB chief claims Trump was recruited by them in 1987 due to his role as a prominent US businessman bylinetimes.com/2025/02/21/d...

Either Trump and Musk visit Fort Knox and say: Yup, our ridiculous conspiracy theory about the gold was bullshit. Or else, I CANNOT WAIT to see what happens to USD$ and US debt interest, if they come out and even HINT that the gold reserve is not fully there. So, watch them cancel their inspection.

This is a must-read article on Germany’s AfD party and its connections to Elon Musk and JD Vance. Very timely for Germany’s election tomorrow… time.com/7260499/alic...

Europe is on the menu - how it can survive the new Russian-American alliance: paragraph.xyz/@compossible... #ukraine

Before the Prime Minister heads to Washington he must wake up to the fact that the UK's real allies may now lie elsewhere, argues UK diplomat Alexandra Hall Hall

My thesis here is that it’s presumptuous and deluded to claim UK can still be “bridge” between US/EU. Real task is to avoid burning bridges w either. But, balance moving decidedly towards weaning ourselves off US dependency, and moving closer to EU, as US interests/values diverge from ours.

Excellent, balanced article, with which I’m largely in agreement. I’m certain that Trump cannot be trusted at all & that we must choose Europe over the US now. (The bridge has collapsed). As regards intelligence I do not think that we should be sharing it (risk of it ending up with Putin?). Trident?

Powerful & heartbreaking from @lukeharding1968.bsky.social on Trump’s attempts at extortion of Ukraine’s wealth. Essential reading. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/f...

The U.S. was once a country admired around the world. Today, 27% of Canadians consider the United States an ‘enemy’ country, and 74% have an unfavorable view of the U.S. president. When they hear the American anthem, they boo.

Today, on Fox Radio, Trump said that it is not “very important” for Zelenskyy to be involved in negotiations because he has done a bad job negotiating so far. On the other hand, Trump said Putin wants to make a deal, even though he doesn’t have to and could take the whole Ukraine if he wanted to.

The U.S. administration asked Ukraine to withdraw a resolution condemning Putin for waging war. This proposition shocked Ukraine and Zelenskyy refused. Source: The Washington Post, citing European diplomats.

Trump continues to defend russia and accuse Ukraine. Talking on the Fox News radio, he said that “it’s not russia’s fault”, that “russia was attacked” and had to attack in response.

It is good to see that not all Republicans have sold out to Putin. New York Post, one of the oldest and most influential conservative newspapers in America, sends a clear message who is a dictator and why the U.S. should continue supporting Ukraine.

This one from 2019 is still relevant…until our government is honest about our own recent history our house is in disorder…

A reminder of one of the many times Farage has parroted Russian propaganda lies. Farage was pushed to public prominence by dozens of appearances on Russia TV, which would have had to have been authorised by the Kremlin. www.theguardian.com/politics/art...

Elon Musk has systematically promoted Kremlin agent Glenn Greenwald's account on X, boosting his reach, following and income from monetization.

Putin rules America. The American Revolution has been reversed. A foreign tyrant rules the USA.

Farage “has appeared so frequently that he is cited in literature for the TV station RT as one of their special and “endlessly quotable” British guest. ‘He has been known far longer to the RT audience than most of the British electorate’, RT claims.” www.theguardian.com/politics/201...

Judith Butler: "Once you decide that a single vulnerable minority can be sacrificed, you’re operating within a fascist logic, because that means there might be a second one you’re willing to sacrifice, and a third, a fourth, and then what happens?"

Meta and X gave the green light to AI-generated ads that called for the gassing of immigrants in concentration camps and the burning of synagogues ahead of Germany’s federal elections on Feb. 23. www.adweek.com/media/meta-a...

Some folk say that in 2028 Trump will be gone, and we can all go back to normal. I believe that to be wishful thinking. There won't be free and fair elections in 2028. Trump is a Putinist, surrounded by Putinists. They are not going to repeat the mistake of giving voters the chance to remove them.

The leader of France’s far-right quit CPAC over Nazi ideology. Meanwhile, Farage happily embraces the Nazi at the same event. Says a lot about champagne fascist Farage. #ukpolitics

Freedom of Movement was robbed from us by a successful Russian influence operation and the worst abuses of democracy in modern British history. Please repost if you want it restored.

Trump wants a world ruled by fascist dictators. He & Xi are natural allies. There are questions concerning the boundaries between their spheres of influence & the balance of trade between their countries. If and when those questions are resolved, they will ally to destroy democracy across the globe.

Musk, Trump and Vance's blatant treason shows they have no intention of allowing voters to remove them from power, because the risk of prosecution would be far too high. They will seek to establish a dictatorship before the 2026 mid-term elections.

In July last year Donald Trump repeated his ‘You won’t have to vote any more’ claim. Trump should be taken at his word. His acts of treason already mean he cannot risk losing power. www.theguardian.com/us-news/arti...

A powerful quote. 'I worked as a psychotherapist at the Holocaust Survivors’ Centre in Hendon from 1990 to 2000. For 10 years, I listened to my clients talking about their experiences of a world that turned from normal to nightmare in a matter of months.'

Global crisis style note: What Trump is doing to Ukraine is not 'blackmail', which would be demand for payment under threat of exposure of compromising information*. This is demand for payment under threat of violence/refusal to protect from violence. The word is 'extortion'.

"The Trump administration wants revenues from Ukraine’s natural resources, according to a draft obtained by The New York Times, with no security guarantee in exchange." Pure gangsterism. What you'd expect from Putin and Wagner, or a mafia syndicate. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/22/w...

Berlin today. Dark and tense mood hanging over everything. As ppl head to the polls tomorrow, the stakes could not be higher for Germany’s future and Europe. And everyone knows it here.
