In the last two hours, I have talked to the police, contacted my local representatives, contacted a local anti-Short Term Rental group, contacted a contractor to build a new higher barrier wall for the back yard, started looking for a lawyer and for some privacy plants for the front yard.

Well, crud. Now I'm tempted to go back and get an account just to test this.

I think she does prefer to play to the left, to the left.

I won’t argue with your logic. My concern is not relegation, but injury prevention. And loans are the better solution as you say.

Yes. On that I completely agree.

I think we often feel like those returning from injury are “back” but there’s nothing that ensures we won’t have further injury. I keep hearing “perfect for system or no one” and that seems to be a false dichotomy to me. Who’s to say a good player couldn’t learn to fit like Porro did?

Presuming the youth are good enough, right? And good is different to fitting the system.

I hear that and if that’s the course I wouldn’t mind. But offloading six (I don’t know what the real number should be here) and onboarding one is moving in the right direction. Also, if one bad fit save several from injury that is acceptable to me. I wouldn’t die on this hill though.

I understand this in principle and agree. However, gaining one imperfect fit to get us through might allow us to steer the middle course between no one / exhaustion and players perfectly fitted to Ange-ball. I’m of the opinion that perfect is the enemy of the good.

Saw that. You win this round.

That’s a fair way to look at it. I’m convinced that there must be enough options available that one should work or should have worked by now, even if we had to overpay a bit. I don’t think you and I stand that far apart of this.

Yes I get that. But also, finding one or more players as short term solutions so that we don’t blow out many players to fatigue or injury is important and possible. You’re describing “perfect”, I’m trying to describe “good”. I’d prefer the former (perfect) but not in our current context.

Not quite where I was going with that. I believe transfers were possible, but holding out for perfect transfers is problematic. I cannot believe that in the wide world of football there were no players that would have been helpful in this window given our needs or simply fresh legs.

I don't know yet. The lack of support is astounding.

I really wanted to see the end of this. Did the penguins hug? High-five? Find and sign a dribbly winger for Tottenham? I gotta know, man!

Yes it has. And it is at this point I think your bias is showing. The studs were above the ankle. It's a red. A bad one. No. But it was.

Then you should watch [insert favorite team here]'s games. Every fan of [insert favorite team here] has seen that foul called against them several times.

I disagree a bit. I think it was marginal, but certainly within the range of what I've seen before. Easy to feel hard-done-by in supporting your team, though. I understand that.

That's very funny. You should consider stand up!
