Housing in the wilderness? Sounds totally practical. Oil drilling, fracking and mining sound much more feasible.

It's about time liberals stopped hiding behind the Supreme Court.

You have to confront the reality that Donald Trump has totally destroyed the use of hypocrisy as a debating tactic.

One thing: “Dirty Bomb”
comment in response to post
You know what would be really suicidal? A “dirty bomb” with all that enriched uranium they have no use for anymore.

Iranian “dirty bomb” with all that enriched uranium they can’t use to make a real bomb anymore.

That’s very probably true, at the time the Constitution was written. That’s why we have the 13th and 14th Amendments to that Constitution.

Maybe we can offer Ayatollah Khameini sanctuary in Mississippi? He might find it a little backwards, but he could adjust.

You mean “The Jews”, like my neighbor down the street, or my high school girlfriend? Or do you mean the Israeli government?

Dems are doctrinaire Marxists, in other words? All the social issues (LGBTQ rights, abortion, guns) are just a distraction from the Class Struggle?

But if the analysis determined such a war could be “won”, would it then be OK? We should oppose such a war on principled grounds, not practical ones.

It’s the rule in Mexico now as well, but not always adhered to.

How does the CBO still exist? It’s obviously biased in favor of reality, which is unacceptable.

He’s a doctrinaire Marxist, for whom anything other that the Class Struggle is a distraction. Just kidding….

How will they contain the fallout if the Iranians send over a missile loaded with enriched uranium and Iron Dome intercepts it above Tel Aviv?

This is satire, right?

Kamala ran an optimal campaign, and Americans ignored it.

Trump is pretty honest. He wants to hurt people, and says so. He wants to enrich himself, and says so.

I distinctly remember my "health" teacher (sex ed) in high school in 1972 saying that the germ theory was "only a theory" and there were other possible theories of disease. One theory was mass depression LOL.

We have to assume that there is already enough enriched uranium stored somewhere else. I’m thinking dirty bomb on a missile that Iron Dome will help along. Israelis are assuming that the Iranian leadership is not insane.
comment in response to post
The Israelis are assuming that the Iranian leadership is not insane. What if they are wrong? Iran does not need a working nuclear weapon. They have enough enriched uranium to build a dirty bomb, and launch it above Israel. Iron Dome will then help them deliver it.

“Not allowed”. Do you know how pathetic that sounds? We’re way beyond that at this point.

Curious if the "professional ethos" is incompatible with the "warrior ethos".

Sad but true, a large segment of the American population is beyond help, they’ve accepted Fascism as their Lord and Savior.

More troubling is that they are literally behaving as if their actions and policies will not be reversed, almost as if we will not have free elections….

That’s old thinking. Trump and his minions will seize and claim whatever power they want, and dare the courts or the institutions to stop them, and then possibly defy them.

Beautiful sentiment, but go find George Orwell's 1940 review of Hitler's "Mein Kampf" for a slightly different take. carnegiecouncil-media.storage.googleapis.com/files/v18_i0...

Triple-A Triptiks. You could write away to AAA and ask for a route to a certain place, and you got back a little booklet with the entire route highlighted, from one page to the next.
