"Quiet quitting" is very much a corporate term designed to make employees look lazy. Naturally, the media ran with it.

Is anybody in the Trump administration not popping something or other? Between that and Musk's inevitable death from ketamine (which he says that he's genetically immune to) and Trump's own love of European grade Sudafed...and whatever MTG's on.

Okay, but we're well beyond the point of sitting around waiting for the GOP to be so unpopular that the only choice is the Democrats. If the Democrats implemented the left wing policies that Bernie champions, the GOP would never have power again, much less this kind.

I think that, like Trump, he's asexual. Trump only has sex to point to whatever he had sex with and say, "mine" and Musk thinks that sex's only value is creating more of himself. Neither of them do it for pleasure or even instinct.

Every Third Way Democrat needs to get punted. It's like if a Republican voted absent instead of with Trump.

He did an entire series called The Ego Review. It's pretty cool and very interesting to see his artistic progress.

Shocked that Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton changed their minds about putting as many women in the Senate as soon as Katie Porter showed up. Primary the Third Way so that left wingers can drag them into the future, kicking and screaming.

The reason they're so organized in calling you stupid is because they know that as soon as they stop calling you names, they'll have to address facts and that fact is that you and the left wing of the Democratic Party are the future. It's time to primary the Third Way Democrats and let reformers in

In other words, "stand back and stand by".

Yeah, but Fox News was literally created in response to Watergate.

Oh, NOW they're concerned about women's dignity, safety and well-being? Better late than never, amirite?

In all fairness, a dope fiend is also President and an advisor so influential that he's also being called the President. As far as I know, RFK's one of the only non-sexual predators, though, so...there's that.

Here's hoping.

The problem is that it would a brutal precedent of governors telling voters that you can only vote for my allies. Of course, GOPs have already set that precedent by expelling Democrats from state houses that they have supermajorities in.

He was weirdly proud of his outfit at the summit even though he looks like he's leaving early to go to a Squirrel Nut Zippers concert.

Is he saying that words like "values," "freedom" and "liberty" is just nebulous pablum and he has no value unless he's sending people somewhere to get shot at? Awesome...more troops for Trump to say, "he knew what he was getting into," to their kin.

What "take over"? We need to primary these status quo centrists, THEN actual reformers can take over and drag Nancy Pelosi into the future, kicking and screaming.

It's almost as though they don't care because they know that whenever they say something stupid, instead of the media saying, "that was stupid and we can ignore it," they have to spend weeks and columns asking, "he said something stupid, but does he have a point?" despite the answer being "no".

Hilariously, he did NOT pardon the two other guys.

The key word is "largely"

The far right Republicans agree with him The less that far right Republicans are afraid to get primaried The "centrist" Democrats are afraid of looking uncivil The left wing Democrats will actually do shiz It's why the first three groups fight so hard against the last one.

I do remember how upset Fox News got at The Muppets movie because the antagonist was an oil baron, despite the fact that the tycoon has been the antagonist in movies for literally over a hundred years.

Naah, I don't need to argue with you. You're a child. "What? You think you're better than me? Based on what, the way you smell your own farts?" Grow up, then get back to me.

How many times do they think they need to waggle their finger at him before he moves? Grab him by the collar. Throw him to the side. Done. This image of an entire party being stonewalled by a single scrawny little turd is why they lose.

I'm not sure RBG is the right icon for fighting back, since she clawed on to her seat until the day she died and 87. She should've retired at 78 with two cancer diagnoses when Obama had a supermajority, but she didn't and now the GOP has a 6-3 majority. She represents everything wrong with the DNC.

I'm asking them to do better than to force on us someone who didn't get 1% in the 2020 primary. I'm asking them not to pour $ into primarying the Squad. I'm asking Pelosi not to shutter AOC because she's not a 77yo centrist. So, yeah, I actually am. Don't know what kind of gotcha you thought this was

The Democrats keep losing to a guy who should have been absolutely wiped out and maybe you need to figure out why.

There's actual security there. Shouldn't they make this guy move?

You can be Jewish and against genocide. Most of them are.

The worst part is that white nationalists are actually saying, "damn right, it's a Nazi salute!" While everybody else on the right like saying, "It couldn't be a Nazi salute, he's probably friends with someone Jewish..."

Centrist boomer Dems are too busy fighting against actual progressive Dems.
comment in response to post
Chuck and Nancy were heard saying, "let's see where they're going with this," like they've been saying for the last twenty years.
comment in response to post
Gee, Chuck, how did you allow THAT to happen? Primary these centrists and vote in left wingers who will actually enact policies that seem to keep winning as ballot initiatives.

If anybody accuses Twitter of being monopolistic (I'm not calling it X), they're probably going to say, "Okay fine, we'll split government social media between Twitter, Truth Social and Gab. There. Happy?"
comment in response to post
They have the power to push left wing policies and candidates and they're sure as hell not doing that.
comment in response to post
Man...giving a Nazi salute to own the libs. *sigh*

I think that even she realizes that it's over for her, but that's not going to stop her from trying to have some influence in the same way the Nancy Pelosi, who also needs to go away, does.
comment in response to post
Well, yeah. She's not a centrist, even though she's trying to look like one to appeal to the leadership. Not the worst of ideas, but I think they'll keep her out because, at first opportunity, she'll actually do the work that they don't want done.
comment in response to post
It's long past time to primary these people. The Third Way DNC is like the nerd who sees the quarterback slap the head cheerleader and think, "Once she sees how bad he is for her, she'll have to come to me". Schumer and Pelosi, thank you for your service. Here's your pension. There's the door
comment in response to post
Have the centrist Democrats considered having a group photo where they glare at the camera with the caption, "Just Say No To Trump" and call it a day? Have they gathered the Snarkiness team? I feel like the Third Way is going to end up paying them overtime.
comment in response to post
The first thing Chuck Schumer did after Trump was inaugurated was talk about a need for bipartisanship. These people need to get primaried. Like, yesterday.
comment in response to post
He should've made Musk Secretary of State and maybe he'd give up ketamine. Eh, Musk'd probably just find Trump's stash of European grade Sudafed.
comment in response to post
I also believe that if Michelle Obama had chosen to run, and I totally understand why she didn't, she would have smoked him like a cheap cigar because she'd actually run on left wing policies and has actual charisma, unlike any of the last three Democratic candidates.
comment in response to post
A major problem, and this is with the Democratic leadership as a whole, is that their whole campaign seems to revolve around not being the other guy. If it hadn't been for Trump's utterly incompetent handling of COVID, I don't think Biden wouldn't have won, either. We need left-wingers. Real ones.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice - Letter From a Birmingham Jail, MLK

The cheese eating surrender monkey French could be asked to reduce their wine breaks by five minutes and they'd burn Paris to the ground. We tough Americans could be told to keep working and step over that body and we'd say, "what else am I gonna do, eat avocado toast and drink soy lattes?"
