They would have charged him for spying. Cuz they're stupid and they're evil.

It will buy them time, meanwhile Mark's going through accelerated reintegration. iMark's going to learn about Gemma. oMark's going to learn about Helly and severed life. They're both going to fall in love with them. It's going to get really messy and I can't wait.

I think Season 3 is going to take place mostly in the Severed floor and mostly from iMark's perspective as they go deeper. They have to start a strike. If they convince the departments to have a sit-in, that'd be devastating to Lumon. That many people can't be disappeared.

iMark saved Gemma, but now he's gotta save Helly. Their situation is desperate and bleak. If either of them leave the Severed floor, they're never coming back. They're dead. So they're both going to try and stay down there for as long as possible. They've got to bury themselves deep down in Lumon.

Yes, but also, Butch and Sundance

This is a clip I can feel is going to stay with me for a long while. Schumer is just plain not meeting the moment here. He's making political decisions like this was any other administration when Trump's done playing with the rules.

Good. She deserves to be hated. If you're a just and person, you should only feel hate for her. It's okay to hate and do hateful things and express hateful things to her.

Albertan here. I'm learning how to fly a drone in case of an invasion. I'm looking forward to violently defending myself from rabid American invaders. That's how much we don't want to be American.

Didn't his character die???

Dungeon Crawler Carl, specifically the audiobooks made from the series. Jeff Hays is a master voice actor and narrator. You'll be shocked to find out it's just him and not a full cast.

It's what they voted for. The people wanted to give more money to the gangs... I mean LAPD.

I think the "Gods" of the dungeons are AI's that are given to operate enhancement zones and the "Ascendacy" represents an AI being given one of those zones, and the Gods in the Nothing are AIs that are given zones with nothing to do, left to only get crazier.

It's over. We're doomed. The Golden age is over. Don't have children. While we'll be lucky enough just to only get the tip of the collapse, they're going to have to experience the downfall of humanity. Bringing a child into a world with no hope is an act of cruelty.

Not only are we not getting that, but now we are getting full-throated regression AND entrenchment. He will make his destruction stick and call it his legacy. His death cultist supporters will be inspired and carry the torch. His four years will set us back a decade and only if we're lucky.

Before the liberation, there was a 100% chance there'd be a dictator in charge. Now, there's not a 100% chance. There's a chance for change. Try to keep hope alive.

I'd argue groups like the Suffragettes listened to their better angels and got violent. Some of the best things in our lives and in politics came from violence. Violence can be a tool for good. We killed slave masters. It was called the Civil War. It was good they died.

Okay, but her first mission that she signed up for was the one where they gassed entire neighbourhoods just to hunt down one criminal. Imagine you lived in that neighbourhood. There'd be nowhere for you to go and no escaping that gas. That's about as despicable as it gets. ACAB. Boo stinky cops.

via pardons, they are.

Right-wingers believe in quotes like this too. Maybe more so than lefties. But they never get past it. When you say "Don't believe everything you read", they hear "Don't believe anything you read". Some teacher in gave them a gold star for having a contrary idea and now they only have contrary ideas

Sure, fine, but when you arrive at an answer and the answer makes sense, grab hold of that answer. Don't just be blindly suspicious and stubborn. Holding onto beliefs when the best evidence proves you wrong is how you get ignorance.

But I wasn't an idiot. I knew they were references to things I'd yet to experience and it made me want to understand the punchlines, so I explored the things they were referencing. If it wasn't for cartoon characters overly dramatically exclaiming "Rosebud", I might never have watched Citizen Kane.

Agreed, and yeah, some things might go over people's heads, but I think those are strengths. When I was growing up, referential comedies were my bread and butter. Animaniacs. Mystery Science Theater. Comedies that made sight gags and made references to things I quite didn't understand...

Controls are a big issue for newbies. WASD and joysticks aren't immediately intuitive. For computers, I'd recommend The Stanley Parable. No time constraints or precision are necessary, but it is deeply immersive and showcases the value of the medium very well.
