We also explore the way a “diversity of tactics” approach can shut down dialogue/conflict in the name of tactical diversity. We explore an alternative approach to building a movement with diverse tactics, one grounded in mutual respect and openness towards conflict, an “ecosystem of tactics”.

I will have to come back to this article when I have more time and space to fully digest it, but I really appreciate this critique.

I think Marvel Rivals made the right decision, given these inherent disadvantages, to make Quick Match cross play and Competitive not cross play.

Certain heroes are hitscan (no leading) and others are projectile (leading), so if you are having trouble with lag related to leading shots, it might be helpful to try a hitscan hero.

Timing a Jeff ult to take out a full team is not easy. It’s an error to be that grouped up. Plus there are tons of counters to Jeff’s ult. People just need to learn them.

Nice job! I think you’ll find Scarlet Witch shreds new players but falls apart against better ones. She is easy to play well, but she has limited potential because her damage output isn’t as aim dependent as other Duelists and her ultimate is very counter-able.

I think there’s definitely merit to this. Players like to try and “diff” their counter-parts.

To The End (2022) follows 4 women of color fighting for the Green New Deal. I think it fits your description.

Working on a paper now which hinges on your concept of “participatory care”, eager to read this new work!

People love to neglect the unjust supply chain in EVs, solar panels, and wind turbines. Mining of lithium, cobalt and REEs has disastrous social and environmental effects. Capitalism can only “solve” one environmental crisis by producing new ones.

Sounds like a very interesting course. I am planning to cover the intersection of the military and the environment in my Environmental Justice class next semester if you have any must-read suggestions. I was planning to focus one class period on the Radford Arsenal.

Oh that’s so smart! I’m teaching my first class next semester (environmental justice!) and I’ll have to build the reading list with that strategy in mind.

Fair! Finding time to read anything not directly related to a class, a publication, or my dissertation research is very hard for me.

Depends, how large is your stack of “to-read”s?

The final approval of the Mountain Valley Pipeline is a disaster for the communities along the route, and it’s important to emphasize that this loss doesn’t mean the years of resistance were for nothing. There is so much value in building community and organizing power despite defeat.
