I post thoughts about video games. Sometimes opinions. Sometimes recommendations. You should play Titanfall 2.

My favorite thing to do in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel was first turn draw a Thunder King Rai-Oh, play it, pass turn, watch the opponent do absolutely nothing for 5-10 seconds, and quit. It was even funnier with an Inspector Boarder because they would take about 20 seconds.

The PS Vita was my favorite handheld, and the Switch didn't replace it for me. There are still excellent games forever trapped on it. The first one there is my favorite Vita game, and in my all-time top ten for sure, Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines (Oreshikabane no Koete Yuke 2).

I used to be the largest Sony mega fan. I loved my PS Vita so much, and I loved crossing save data between it and my PS3 and PS4. When Sony went full steam ahead on only AAA games, something was lost. Now I can't cross my save data between my PS4 and PS5? And there's no exclusive games? Man.

Genuinely excited for Saros! I love Housemarque's games ever since Super Stardust HD on PS3. I played Resogun mostly on PS Vita! Such an excellent portable game. Returnal is a brilliantly fine game, and there truly isn't much else like it. Looking forward to it.

I'm so glad I bought a $500 PS5 in October 2024 to play exclusive games... in 2026. Well, at least The Midnight Walk looks cool. Whenever I see "TBC [current year]" I know for sure it means next year. If they were even close to being done, we'd have seen them in the last State of Play.

Balatro launched one year ago today I often say I made this game for myself and friends, but seeing so many people connect with Balatro has filled this past year with joy. Thank you players, your love and support have kept Balatro thriving! I appreciate you all naneinf! 🍌

6/10 games can be good games. 7/10 games can be good games. 8/10 games can be great games. 9/10 games can be amazing games. Games that are not a 10/10 are still very much worth your time I promise. Sometimes you can find a hidden gem this way & not even know it. Scores are subjective too. 👌🏻

I dropped it as soon as the season pass was available because it harasses you after every match like "WHY HAVEN'T YOU SPENT MORE MONEY, YET, HUH? DON'T YOU WANT POINTLESS COSMETICS OVER AND OVER AND OVER?" and dude, I just want to play the video game.

Is the Okami sequel going to aim for photorealism, or are we FINALLY going to get a cel-shaded, colorful game in RE engine? Every other RE engine game has this same general look. I could tell it was Onimusha 5 right away in the last State of Play because RE engine just looks like that.

Doom: The Dark Ages requires an NVMe SSD on PC? Does any other game require an NVMe drive? Also, these system requirements are as high as Indiana Jones, but with the additional aforementioned requirement. This is weird because Doom Eternal had very low system requirements, and (2016) even lower.

People will be like “keep politics out of gaming” and then play Final Fantasy 7

I threw a Halo MCC LAN party last night, and it was mostly successful. I own an Xbox One, a One X, and a Series S, along with a ton of controllers, so I already supplied a ton of equipment. I want to do a Killzone 2 night, on the fan server, but I only have two PS3s... I guess I need more? Lmao

Games I'm looking forward to: - Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (12-09-24) - Avowed (02-18-25) - Doom: The Dark Ages (2025, I hope) - Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (it better be 2025) - ... uh, is Perfect Dark (reboot) coming out? Ever? - ... Gears of War: E-Day? I guess? - Ghost of Yotei, maybe

Why physical games are always better, black Friday sale: - Game on PSN: 60 - Same game in store physical: 30 digital pricing makes no sense man 😂

I hate that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is so much fun. I hate that it has the best control out of any "tactical" shooter I've ever played. I hate the excellent feedback for all the weapons, making each one feel unique. I hate the new awesome maps full of vantage points, cover, sniping spots, and-

Resident Evil Director's Cut and Dino Crisis are available for purchase on the North American PSN Store for PS5 and PS4. If you owned them on PSP/PS3/Vita as PSOne Classics, you can aquire them for no charge. This is the non-DualShock version of REDC, with a proper soundtrack not made of farts.

Can Koei Tecmo co-develop another Fire Emblem game?

1994年11月22日 『セガサターン』発売🪐 2024年は30周年のアニバーサリーイヤーです。 Happy birthday, " #SEGASATURN " This year marks the 30th anniversary.

"Buy me Slaughter for the NES or go to hell!" This is not bearably playable but... it's a tile-based FPS on the NES with elevation, and it uses NO MAPPERS. This is just the raw 1983 hardware

I somehow predicted Avowed would be digital-only release. A steelbook with a game code is still rather disappointing for an RPG by Obsidian. I love, love, LOVE this cover, but I also don't want to spend $95 on a code in a box.

Picked up a brand new PS5 copy of the Alone in the Dark remake (from this year) for $15 at Walmart. Last one they had. Another guy was going to buy it, but he let me buy it after he saw me ask a team member for another. I declined at first, but he insisted. Real nice guy. Looking forward to this!

Absolutely gorgeous! 😍

Kunitsu-gami: Path of the Goddess was also really fun. I didn't finish it, but I've been meaning to go back to it. I wish it got a physical release! And hey, it has local co-operative play! So grab a buddy with you.

You know what I decided to throw in, though? Bowser's Fury. I skipped that one because, as a Wii U owner (still), I didn't need another copy of Super Mario 3D World, a game I do not like. But my 5yo niece made me borrow it from her, and hey, it's like 3 hours, right? Uh. Wow. It's really good.

Returnal hits every spot for me so far. - female-led sci-fi - heavy Metroid Prime vibes - challenging gameplay where every decision has weight - it's like playing Doom 2016 as Mario but the enemies are from Donpachi - abstract story and alien OST It really does help justify spending $500 on a PS5.

Do I buy another copy of Slay the Spire? Maybe you should buy it so I don't spend money. Then you'll play Slay the Spire. All works out, you see.

Now that I own a PlayStation 5, I could replay Elden Ring on it, and finally get around to Shadow of the Erdtree. Tempted to run the PlayStation 4 version in backwards compatibility for a locked 60fps, but is it really a From Software game if the framerate is stable? Of course not. PS5 it is.

I’m kinda fascinated by the Until Dawn remake. Like, here’s a remake that has worse visuals, worse music, worse performance, worse bugs, worse camera, worse gameplay, and is also (at least) three times more expensive than the original game which you can still buy and play on modern hardware.

As a westerner, here's a rare look at the file select screens for the Japanese versions of Metroid, Kid Icarus, Castlevania, and Castlevania 2.

I've been on here all day and I haven't seen one dumbass console war post. I like it here.

I'll do this algorithm thing, I guess. - classic games - modern games - indie games - PlayStation 4, 5 - Xbox One, Series S and X - Nintendo Switch - PC, Mac, and Linux games - CRT televisions - horror games - shooter games - role-playing games - homebrew games - Baroque (1998) for the Sega Saturn
