unfortunately. The way I think of it - they want to scrimp and save in all the places people can't fight back. Delaying payments to seniors and others is an easy way to hold onto money. It's exactly what the insurance companies do.

Remember the American Bund. The silver shirts. Some of us thank G-d have read history and have not been fooled to seek solace in their poison tentacles. âgoose-steeping morons like yourselves should be reading books instead of burning them.â

Itâs a blend of things. It is a physician sometimes but many times the physicians determination in favor of the patient is overridden by the insurer themselves. Also capricious guidelines set by insurers that are followed by reviewed poison the well

Remember, call the people whose motto was move fast and break. Things are never the people who ended up putting them back together nor take responsibility when things get broken. The worship of technocrats is how we got here.

Actually they often use nurses or folks with barely any degree to do that. Some states donât require the same specialty so you can have a family doc rejecting indications for a neurosurgical procedure.

Agreed. But you really need to direct a conversation at doctors (who also do research) justifying the gutting. I hope you can engage them and understand their very very inverted thought processes. Like with a lot of things that are important, the people who need to read
This donât see it.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God.... Isaiah 14:12-14

And if they are employed, the health system snags that cream and pays their middle management who don't take care of patients at 3AM and break awful news to scared patients and family (ie don't do the caring).

Well, partially right. MC rates for physicians' services is DOWN by 25% over the past 20 years, while the cost to do business has risen roughly 30%. DME like breast pumps do have a higher profit, and if the doctor is independent/solo chances are they use that money to make payroll. happy to cite
