I was pretty sure I was off this from when they revealed the price (amid the discourse around it all) but the fact that you aren’t even getting the PDF with it at that price was a 100% close on there being any flicker of interest.
Looking forward to putting this in the rear view.

A lot of what I like about the TTRPG hobby is there are many degrees to which you can enjoy a book without having to play it:
- You can appreciate the art
- You can be inspired by ideas from it that you can take into other games / sessions
- You can enjoy considering situations contained within

Ran a few sessions of this, while it wasn’t right for that particular group I loved it - excited to find another opportunity to get it back to the table

I did a demo game last Tuesday and am running the same QuickStart for a group of friends tonight. I’m usually an OSR / story game head but this one has enough focus on narrative and player agency that I am in alignment with you - this might be the best trad game to come out in a long time

Played it at a launch event tonight - it’s a nice hybrid of trad fantasy + PBTA with some neat choices.
The 2d12 rolls are very elegant in play.

The two linked already are the best of it - I will say from having a higher level balladeer in my games the experience feels very repetitive in play though, so if you don’t want a battery just constantly juicing your spell casters go with the Crawl! option.

This is awesome - do you sell any of your originals? I’m playing P&P with my kiddo as her first game and love your art - would be over the moon to own one for the memories!

This store looks dope AF. It also brings me joy that the 5e books are relegated to the bottom-ass shelf
