How is Norris ever going to live up to the massive expectations on him if he’s not at praccy?
comment in response to post
Well, too bad! You’re stuck with us!

Loved Cozens, but he just really ran into a development wall with us (I mean we’re consistently terrible so…). Hoping he is able to rebound with you all, and Norris can stay healthy for us!

I just watched the third period after my Sabres managed to win a game for once, and I was screaming… couldn’t believe the Wings were getting goalied so bad.

Happy early birthday, Joe! Thanks for all the humor and Sabres coverage!

Watching my Sabres desperately try to end their 17 year playoff drought as they faceoff against Dylan Cozens and the defending Stanley Cup Champion Seattle Kraken.

I burst out laughing, it was so bad.

We needed the Bluesky garage to finish this one off

You got away with not calling it the warmies but I’ll take it.

Sell licensed Utah Bee bead bracelets to further immortalize the Arrested Development bit. Look I’m not saying you’re a genius, but I’m not not saying it.

Instead of cheering the fans just buzz in unison.

I’m sorry to say Joe, but I think you’re going to have to describe every warmup as the “warmie” from now on after the result of this game.

WARMIES

Or amateur ventriloquists doing it to represent their families. youtu.be/7EghPAJeXP8?...

I was trying to figure out if you were talking about the Bills or Sabres here, and the answer was neither (but also, somehow both???)

Keep doing you, man. Thanks for all the entertainment over the years!

I’m always surprised at how early you get to the stadiums… but that’s exactly what I would want to do too. Is that expected of media, just a routine thing for you, or what?
comment in response to post
On behalf of the rational bills fans, I’m sorry for the nonsense.

Cool. Cool cool cool. Don’t hate that at all.

You may be accused of murder

Oh dear, that’s concerning. Hope all is well with him right now… definitely need him in the game.

Wow, not one IPA joke made the cut.

Melatonin on ice. Melatonice? Anyway thank you for your sacrifice watching on our behalf. 🫡

For my own mental health I decided to not watch this game, and it appears I made the right choice.

Thanks.

I’m torn on who would do better against Baltimore between LA and Pittsburgh… the Steelers being a division opponent for Baltimore (and consistently playing decent against them) feels like it would be a better chance for the Ravens to get eliminated… but who knows man.

It drives me up the wall every game. Seeing a great shot opportunity and then hearing the SMACK of the puck hitting the boards/glass.

Is that bad? That seems bad. 😬

Merry Christmas! Thanks for all the entertainment over the years!

I laughed pretty hard when I realized the Sabres play during the Bills game today. You can’t hurt me today, swords.

No take backs!
comment in response to post
I’ll sacrifice a Sabres loss for a Bills win
comment in response to post
Undeniably correct that the middle of the game (where we dug the hole) is where we truly lost, but we did claw back and were denied an opportunity to finish it due to questionable decisions/strategy. I’m not saying to fire anyone here, but this did feel eerily similar to playoffs, which is worrying.

They learn early

Kyle Williams is a great answer. Eric Wood in a similar vein would be awesome. He’s not from the turnaround era, but I wish we could get one for Brian Moorman.

Ah, I didn’t consider that it would be a two-way decision (as in Hyde could decide to sign or not)… I was thinking about it more like waivers, where the player doesn’t have a say. That makes more sense!
comment in response to post
Doesn’t this (him being on the practice squad) mean that someone could sign him to their active roster?
comment in response to post
Would you say that you needed to catch them all?
