I get the attempt to emulate the classic 70’s doom sound but if you ain’t got it, try something else. Sounds like he’s parodying Sabbath.

Was your favorite band influenced by Faith No More? It’s more likely than you think.

Every time I've tried to grasp what was going on, I end up at the same point of asking "Wait, why is this legal?"

We're Americans, dammit. We don't have a monarch. Our leader put their pants in the morning on just like the rest of us. They aren't ordained by a higher power, they get their authority from us, and we reserve the right to tell them to pound sand anytime we choose.
Americans don't bow or kneel.

Trump has that child's perception that the President is simply another name for the King. "I can order everyone around", "I can wave my hand and make inconvenient laws go away", etc.
What's incredible to me is the people who seem to believe this is the case.

It's when you get to high school, college and beyond that you learn that the best answer to the question of who is in charge in the public sector is "It depends." Heck, in public administration, the question of "Who do public servants work for?" is up for debate. My boss, the chief exec, the voters?

Stars Wars Episode 1 being a notable exception.
It's easy to just say, "The person wearing the crown, sitting on the throne in the palace is in charge, okay? Moving on..." Kid get their sense of authority from this, and their surroundings. Principals, teachers, parents - someone is in charge.

Yeah, there's no gimmick or irony, it just straight up works as a metalcore track.

Look, if you put a drop of water in British Columbia on a world map on your wall, it’ll run down to California, right?
There you go. 😁

I support making Standard Time permanent. Year-round Daylight Savings has been tried before and people hate it.

I think there’s a pretty compelling argument that Colors is three songs - the first two tracks, the last two, and the middle four.
