I’m not here, this isn’t happening. Security guru, yoga instructor, bi-stitchual. Spends too much time on the NADC website looking at campaign finance data.

Maybe it did a cartwheel or something on landing. I'm really curious. Because damn, that's still pretty crazy.

We ask what their address is - my favorites are the ones that give a range of addresses, like "1324-1224 N 50th St". Some put in entirely fake addresses, or addresses in other cities. Come on scammers, be best.

Ours is searchable and we have questions. I screenshot my favorites. 95% of them when asked how they found it, say “Facebook suggested me the group.” Denied.

Well yeah, they got rid of DEI in the military and those highly qualified on their own merit people flew a helicopter into a plane. Thank god they didn’t have DEI to worry about anymore.

Nextdoor is an absolute cesspit of nonsense and crackpots these days but at least we don’t have scammers trying to get into our neighborhood group 24/7.

My family is all on there and our neighborhood association so yeah, it is what it is. Facebook makes Nextdoor look like paradise though.

Wait I thought they were getting rid of the department of education, did these chucklefucks forget that part?

I was an alternate last year and a couple weeks later got notice I was accepted - i think some number of people are accepted and drop for whatever reason. Keep your fingers crossed!

I saw more than one "Veterans for Trump" sign in my neighborhood. I'll have to stop by and ask how that decision panned out for them in six months.

Why is it that female right wing spokespeople are expected to be dimes if they’re going to get any air time, and men are given a free pass to look as lumpen and idiotic as they can? It’s infuriating.

I'm not saying they don't, but when millions of people say they get their news from tiktok as their primary source of information, and that platform is controlled by the chinese government, that's a problem. There are laws against foreign controlled media.

The chinese government controls what's displayed on the platform. That's part of the reason why it's getting banned. It's effectively foreign-controlled media, they use the app to spy on americans (which they freely admin) and control the content. thediplomat.com/2023/10/chin...

I watched the first season, read the books, and couldn't go back to the TV show. The husband is watching it and i'm peripherally watching it but it's just... ugh. I'm all for changing the book to make for better tv but it's all too disjointed.

You would be surprised (or may not surprised) at how many men his age in this state would do the same thing. Including many of our state senators, and they'd brag about it. The racism/misogyny run deep here.

Did he buy any guns while he was abusing drugs? There's a lot of people that are really concerned when certain people commit crimes like that.

Teach them how to play spoons and they'll never want to watch tv again. No electronics, just violence.

I have heard that zero trust is all the rage in the industry. Seems simpler than rebuilding trust.

In cybersecurity there's two types of people. Those that are losing, and those that don't realize it yet.

Public restrooms arguably offer more privacy than locker rooms, but often have bathroom stalls with gaps large enough to see through easily. Doors don't latch correctly, if at all. There are creepers of all genders in public bathrooms. Ask any high schooler.

Sex based privacy in a public restroom? One where adults often bring children of the opposite gender? Even in locker rooms this happens. People don't want to send their kids into restrooms alone and will make decisions based on that. Saying "only females are allowed" isn't realistic.
