This made my day: I had bought some chive plants and half of them looked odd. I asked customer service to identify them. They did, apologized, and gave me a refund. I thanked them and said "no problem". They wrote again to thank me for understanding and they hoped I'd enjoy the spring onions. 🌱

While the bumblebees go crazy about the poppies, smaller bees and other pollinators love my yellow mustard. 🌱

My white current is a bit over the top this year. I just picked almost 2 kg (4 lbs) from this bush and there's loads more to come. 1st pic: Humble twigs close to the ground. Not much going on there, right? 2nd pic: Think again. 😂🌱

Barely open for business and already crowded. 😂🌱

I switched to a stainless steel pan years ago. Yes, it took some getting used to. Yes, it needs more oil than non-stick, but at least I no longer have to buy a new pan every couple of years whenever the non-stick coating is worn down or damaged and it's non-toxic. #cooking

Never had leaf salad as a cover crop before - usually only a plant or two survived the slugs and snails, so I used plenty of seeds. The slug fence and dry spring appear to have made a huge difference. 😅 🌱

Here's another "closed" poppy: 🌱

Apparently, poppies can close their flowers when it rains. I've grown them for years, but I never noticed it before. 🌱

@jackwallington.com did you see you were mentioned in this article? Regarding the other weed-related gardening advice there: My weeds certainly don't need any encouragement at this time of the year. 😂🌱 (I'm slowly replacing the impolite ones with more docile ones, though.)

Me, doing yoga: Cross-legged seat is uncomfortable. I don't like it. Also me: Sits cross-legged on an office chair for hours at a time.
