Trump's attacks on the USPS aren't new. For decades, the GOP has been trying to privatize the Post Office and other crucial public services — all to pad the profits of their wealthy corporate donors.

I just signed a petition demanding the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry Ban X/Twitter in Canada. I very strongly endorse this move. X is a foreign influence tool and should be treated as such. Join me in signing here: you.leadnow.ca/petitions/ba... you.leadnow.ca/petitions/ba...

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Medicaid is not for sale. NASA is not for sale. The Post Office is not for sale. America is not for sale. We have an obligation to resist kings. We outnumber them. And they can be overwhelmed.

CSPAN Caller from West Virginia: I’m a diabetic and I’m on Medicare. When Biden was in there, my insulin was $6 for a 28 day supply. I just went to CVS, it went back up to $80…

Dang it, NOAA, every year I get my hopes up: Will Hurricane Noah be thing this year? Nope, yet again. 🌈🌧️🕊️

You have to love it when the Judge implies that a homeless wino passed out in front of the courthouse could argue your case as well as you're doing now:

A team of astrophysicists have found flares of light in Sagittarius A*, a supermassive black hole in the center of the Milky Way.

I am happy to see this. I love baseball and love traditions but would also really like to see some of the controversial calls taken out.

Unpopular item to point out: While I have full sympathy for those mourning the death of Hamas kidnapping victims and deeply disapprove of the tactics taken by Hamas. Netanyahu‘s Palestinian policies have not been covered nearly well enough. Holding 300+ nonparticipants as “prisoners” for example.

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) was established by Benjamin Franklin in 1775 when the Second Continental Congress appointed him as the first Postmaster General.

A small museum says all but one sponsor of a Girls in STEM event backed out, fearing retaliation from the Trump administration over "DEI." Evan Kruegel reports for @nexton9news.bsky.social. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zg1n...

The official DIA total will be wildly misleading from this storm #COwx #denver

General-ish idea based on your reports (thank you!). What a gradient. Trace-18" separated by <50 miles. #COwx

Among the broad interpretations of faith are those that respect nature and don’t want every inch of it exploited in greed. Yes, I see a National Park as a place of meditation and sanctuary.

Carville: USAID spent $41 billion the federal budget is 6 trillion. Actually comes to something like .014%. So take that and put it against the 6 trillion and see what you have done when your president is responsible for more federal debt than any president in the history of the United States.

Is it a good thing he’s predictable in his chaos?

When people say that the Board appoints the US Postmaster, I point out: precedent noun /ˈpresədnt/ 1. An earlier event or action that is regarded as an example or guide to be considered in subsequent similar circumstances."there are substantial precedents for using interactive media in training”

While Democratic Govs Pritzker (IL) and Hochul (NY) are taking on Trump directly, Colorado Gov Jared Polis is trying a different approach: praising the Trump administration and framing Trump's goals as common ground. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyQw...

Well @GOP you against Trump or gonna side with Booker on this one?

New: DOGE's spending has been secret. No longer. My colleagues have uncovered it. www.propublica.org/article/doge...

I know I’m overly sensitive about this but… Operation Aurora was the first thing that sprung to mind when I saw this. Literally, Trump signaling that he is willing to send military personnel to “take back American towns.”

President Trump and Elon Musk's efforts to shrink the federal government have cut off all funding to pro-democracy and human rights groups abroad, giving China an opportunity to muscle in.

No, but if you’re looking for one, I am aware of a guy you work with that was indicted four times and convicted of thirty-four felonies.

I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?

In the wealthiest nation on earth, 25% of seniors should not be living on $15,000 a year or less. We should EXPAND Social Security, not cut it. I will soon be introducing legislation to significantly raise Social Security benefits and extend the solvency of the program.

Texas banned abortion. Then the maternal mortality rate rose substantially there -- at a time when it dropped in the United States. Dozens more pregnant and postpartum women died in Texas hospitals than had in pre-pandemic years. Must-read from @propublica.org: www.propublica.org/article/texa...

It’s been said too many times. 1st Amendment (and most of the Constitution tbh) is only a convenient excuse to get his way. Then it is absolutely ignored. NO GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL SHOULD BE POSTING ON X AT THIS POINT.

While informing the public is a great start, the good Congressman needs to do more. We NEED more by those in positions of leadership to organize legal resistance, energize those with wealth to act, and to make “those calls”. Otherwise, it just becomes rhetorical political theater.
