Goodbye troll. It was so much fun.

Is a hammer a tool? Because all I said was that something was a tool, and then gave an example of a tool. No disrespect to hammers came from this guy.

omg, okay, here's an example of how ChatGPT is helpful. I know how to write docs, but don't want to do it all by hand... I can just review the chat response for correctness. Prompt: `Write me "get-help" docs for this powershell function: <inserts function code>` Answer:

at least you're not Ʉ₦Ⱨł₦₲ɆĐ ... or are you?

This one truly is a chore, a repetitive, boring chore. It’s really difficult to self-motivate on this one, for sure.

it’s a tool, like a hammer. Choose whatever tool works best for your use case. AI chat saves me time and energy in writing scripts, unit tests for code, etc. And for things that I might google: it *gives* me the answer so I don’t need to *search*. Or I use perplexity.

It certainly doesn’t look like it.

Okay, now I wish I had a bookmark feature to find and reference this later. I suppose I’ll just have to repost it!

I wasn’t saying I have use cases for them, just that the core concept is really cool and I wasn’t sure if you were aware of their intended functionalities.

Okay, so you do understand. I feel like you have a stance… and are leaning way too hard into it. It’s useful.

Not if you have a reference doc on one side and a task related on the other one. You know, like looking at notes, etc.

Sounds about right.

Crypto. Besides the pure fact of digital currency, the blockchain is pretty amazing. And the use cases are very numerous.

Most of them have a functional purpose.

I don’t think ChatGPT would be best for literature. Try others and see what they give you. Claude has impressed me more than ChatGPT, but I’ve been using it to write code, code that I could write… but it doesn’t faster. It makes silly mistakes, but I can spot and fix them. Saves time.

I think the inverse: more is less… less room to work!

We use a low dose of melatonin and after 10-20m, we listen to a Moshi (great ambient story app).

I get a lot of quick accurate answers from ChatGPT, or Claude, or Perplexity… it depends on what you’re trying to get answers to. Claude is great for coding, ChatGPT for general stuff, perplexity for recent things… reading the docs is also good, but not always necessary.

Just sit this up. (This is also a playroom, and a little messy.)

Another stellar idea is to prop your phone up somewhere and start time lapse so that when you’re done you get to a super awesome, rewarding, kick ass video of the wonderful thing you did.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say, but yes, I agree you should live elsewhere in that case.

I’m not sure how you’d do it in gaming, per se, but you could store all language strings in resource files and import them based on the configured language?
