It's the inertia of having to move to a new place + bsky requires you to do more work yourself insted of an algorithm trying to determine what you'd like to see. The site has also gained a /lot/ of users recently and the site management hasn't put the situation under control yet.

I'm pretty sure you can mute keywords and tags from the settings menu. There might also be a pro-ED block list out there that you can import. It's ok if you still want to leave though, or maybe take a break until bsky is in more stable growth since things are a bit chaotic rn. Take care

I'm just one person but i've weaned myself off microsoft office or anything from adobe and i can live without it /and/ still be able to make and open pdfs, word docs etc. It's definitely doable. The only exception is if your employer wants you to only work in photoshop or something
