Same goes for flight attendants! Acknowledge them when they welcome you on board, pay attention to them even if you've heard the safety spiel a thousand times, thank them, and when they are able, they will go out of their way to make your trip more comfortable.

Being afraid is the GOP's shtick. Be angry, be resolved, be disappointed, be sad, but don't be afraid. Fear leads to irrational decisions.

Or, and hear me out on this, you direct their emails to your trash so you never see them, and so they don't know that your e-mail address is actually active. One wrong "unsubscribe" can bring a mountain of new spam

A poll/study for the right would be neat too. Are right-leaning pessimists suddenly feeling optimistic? I've always been a pessimist, the election played out pretty close to how I thought it would. I feel like I'm handling it a bit better than my optimistic friends. What's your experience?

I'm trying out eM Client, but I'm not impressed thus far. Filters are limited (I can't filter by List-ID? what the fuck?!), and it's one of those "new" "modern" looks with graphics and stuff everywhere. I don't see an option for newsgroups, and RSS feeds are hidden. ugh

I made that rule too, but long after Kissinger should have died, so he's fair game.
