I never would have expected Rob Carlton to appear on The White Lotus, but there he was on the party boat.

Not every episode of The Office (US) works and the problem with those episodes is almost entirely because this isn't calibrated right. The show is a high wire act.

Eventually the only TV show we will have left to watch is OG MacGyver episodes and this sort of attitude is to blame.

If we were smart, we’d be shipping boatloads of Australian whisky, wine, rum and beer to Canada like yesterday.

Have any tv news weather reporters likened the anger of the cyclone to "an old man sending back soup at a deli"?

#Oscars

Watching the James Bond segment on the #Oscars makes me wonder if anyone making this is aware that this is a 3.5 hour TV show and maybe not every idea at the first pitch meeting needs to happen.

September 5 - great film at the wrong moment.

Just start the show and knock it off with this Wicked nonsense. #Oscars

Note from conan to the 57th mezzanine

My Oscar predictions: Best picture - Conclave Director - Brady Corbet Best actor - Adrien Brody Best actress - Mikey Madison I'm not expecting any clean sweeps. I think we're going to see a hodge podge. Also, I've been on the Conclave train since early Jan and haven't wavered.

Netflix could significantly improve the perception of its movies and own all the Emmys attention. It just needs to back away from the Oscars.

I’ve watched so many episodes with Daddy Pig stumbling around, inept at everything. There’s no way this is a planned pregnancy. www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio...

Me to myself, at least once a day while reading social media:

It's been wonderful discovering today that so many other people love this film. I felt like I was on an island these past 20+ years.

Generative AI totally explains why the holodeck was always fucked.

The benefits of being a Telstra customer. Yes, that is an $11 higher than the standard price ticket offer.

This week's episode of Paradise (ep7). Incredible, bleak as hell television.

Zero Day on Netflix is routed as Robert De Niro's first TV series. It probably would be better if it starred Eugene Levy. #realtalk

Just saw, maybe, the 30th review of Captain America: Brave New World saying "more of the same."

Two weekend update anchors?

In 1992 I was too cool as a 12 year-old to watch the TV special The Magic of David Copperfield XIV: Flying - Live the Dream. In 2025, I’m just cool enough to be watching it at home on a Saturday night.
