Any news they don't like is "fake news" and the solution is to completely contrive a new source of said news. It's in the playbook.

They are coming after it. Hope the Maga seniors in this country are paying attention.

Oh, Elon is coming after social security. It's crazy concept, but so is he. The genius doesn't understand its insurance, it's not a Ponzi "scheme". Hope everyone has extra rooms and income to take care of their parents. bsky.app/profile/thet...

Even before they lay off Federal employees there's going to be suppression to spending because they've been told they are going to be fired. Of course it won't be 100%, but they told 100% of them they are not wanted and could be fired at any time.

There are 2.4 million civilian federal employees. An additional 525k in the US postal service. It's not overstated.

The executive branch has threatened to fire 3 million Americans. They won’t be spending.

It’s so easy to ignore if it’s not your thing. It’s a total trigger for some. So much so I dare say they doth protest too much.

Imagine the impact of telling 3 million American workers they might not have a job tomorrow. Spending is going to hit rock bottom. No vacations, no homes, no new phones, cars etc... And we know what the next CPI will look like. It's a perfect storm.

I think they will use AI for keyword scraping. Just like they did for their DEI discovery when they gained access to Federal data systems.

Or one single example of a paid employee that doesn't exist. There's zero evidence to this effect. The only non-existent employees they will find will be the ones they let resign and still have to pay for 8 months.

I'll take 51% all day long. It's the sub 48% that just takes a toll on your possession. I don't care about NZ draws, they never lead to anything really.

Just wait for the job report and Consumer spending in Feb. Going to get real ugly.

Is MacKinnon good at faceoffs now?

That's an endgame scenario I haven't entertained beyond the hyperbole. That's as unconstitutional as you can get.

In almost all cases with AI, you want the human to pull the lever to execute decisions. The human needs understanding of the data and the end goal of the results. Or even mixing the results into traditional deterministic code.

Tough times when you need to sign your emails with Vagina. You didn't even get a best regards or anything. Rude.

I have no issue with it but Veteran preference is literally DEI fwiw.

This is true for a lot of civilian agencies.

Yes, and all that PII data wouldn't be the vehicle that drove all of your other data processes. Those would be done by the key or unique ID. Similar to FEINs or other id systems to protect the PII.

So true, when I want breaking sports news or trade talk or any of that. This platform hasn't capture that audience. Just look at the Luka engagement. For "real" news, this place is amazing for breaking news coverage and links.

You mean, you're not using PII as your database ID? They are throwing all this data into AI models for analysis and not asking the SMEs managing the systems what the data means.
comment in response to post
So silly, unique records in a database won't be based on the PII of a social security number. They will track by a unique database ID. When you're analysing the data you grabbed by throwing it into a AI model, these are the wrong conclusions you will arrive at.

IMO, they will be in a constitutional crisis when a judgement is rendered that makes an action illegal and then, the executive branch ignores said judgement despite the judicial branch imposing their power. If he ignores those judgements, then where are we?
comment in response to post
They just told 3 million American workers to stop all spending of any kind because we want to fire you. Of course consumer spending is going to tank.

That is a huge security issue.
