It ook two weeks, but Trump's import taxes are being recognized as an existential danger to gaming. Yesterday, Cephalofair announced that they had $1.2M in a completed print run of a game that they cannot bring into the United States. They haven't said, but I'm guessing that's Gloomhaven 2e.

A musical instrument I ordered is now delayed 2-3 months because of the tariffs, and while the company making it is admirably not raising the cost on my end, their costs have undoubtedly risen because they had to find new vendors and start up an entirely new production line. As a historian of eugenics, I can tell you that the "taxes" thing is straight up from sterilization eugenics. Not only that, it represents an even more extreme form of early 20thC. eugenics that I study: euthanasia eugenics. They are tax burdens therefore they shouldn't exist. 1/2
