Agree on TV. In fairness to them, Jack Ryan & Reacher are enjoyable shows, good conversions from film to TV show projects, & deliver what's expected within the confines of their own worlds.
If they can do that with Bond, dialing the movie over-the-top-ness down a few notches, it could work out.

A recent rendition of said Cavalry March by Cormac Begley, a direct descendant of the O'Neill's. They marching from Tyrone to fight in the battle of Kinsale, but were defeated & went on to settle in Kerry.

Yeah, it's OK, I just had high expectations because of De Niro being in it.

Yeah, I get ya.
As a photographer, I loved Civil War though, but more as a war photography film rather than anything else.

#ZeroDay opinions (spoilers!):
De Niro carried it, but the character was so stiff, it was like he was made to go bowling with the gutter rails up.
If they gave it 10 episodes rather than 6, it prob would have been better.

#ZeroDay opinions (spoilers!):
I thought the pacing was off, 1st few eps slow, the rest way too fast.
Also felt like it was a 2nd or 3rd season of a show where we already knew something about all the characters.
Like they tried to combine 24 with House of Card, & failed.

Yeah, fair point.
I suppose it would account for the constant supply of waffle they come out with too.

Yeah, it's a tough gig, and with a vanishing job market afterwards too โน๏ธ
Not fostering a fair & thriving highered sector is a huge squandering by the state of a key economic force multiplier imo.
