Generic pleb. Mainly chat bollocks about LUFC. Unrelenting pessimism a byproduct of a defective brain. Not very good at listening, etc. Don’t vote Tory.

Incredibly disappointed, but not surprised. Still, it was the only real option and things would be so much worse with Sunak buddying up with Trump/Musk & Putin. You choose your favourite disease, don’t you.

And weren’t interested in getting it. They were already at a Premier League club, so had little motivation to succeed as they knew they’d jump ship to another if we failed.

Absolutely. And I think that’s my point here. Coming in without knowing, alleviates the pressure.

You’re probably familiar with my defensive mechanism pessimism on here, but even I have to admit, I think we’ll do it should get one over on hamface twat on Monday. That said. I’ve probably jinxed our entire huture in a single sentence there 😂

I’d take their money, scouting and player/team development network. I just can’t see them being happy without their name all over our badge and stadium.

I always assumed Red Bull would fully takeover upon promotion. The timing of all this has only compounded my suspicions.
comment in response to post
That was my immediate thought, to be honest. The timing of these stories is interesting. Not to say we’re guaranteed promotion, but we’ve made huge strides toward consolidating it recently.

That’s the thing. I don’t see any benefit to us here. Hence my reactive take.

Jumping to conclusions is unfortunately what I do. I’m usually wrong, so it’s probably all fine and I’ll look like a dick in a day or so. Or now. 😂

I don’t trust him. Never have, never will.

Bummed to death by Elon. Who then has a heart attack whilst still attached. Preferably. Filmed live by Fox News and presented by Sean Hannity.

In fairness, they undermine their own integrity on a weekly basis.

Ben Jacobs talks so much shite. Has no idea what’s really going on at Leeds, just regurgitates clickbait stories & “confirms” tap in news once the horse has bolted. I remember him being one of Cellino’s media puppets during his reign of madness, though. Obviously still feels he has currency here.

Traceable all the way back to Brexit and the treatment that Corbyn received from the right and our very own BBC, falsely aligning him with the Russians.

Trump/Musk have played straight from the fascist playbook by accusing their “enemies” of doing exactly what they themselves plan to do/are already doing. The Nazi thing the tip of the iceberg. Also see the right’s obsession with the threat of globalism. This is arguably a globalist plot, if anything

A joining of the US & Russia makes sense. Given Trump seems to be wanting to “liberate” places with natural resources he can plunder. Does Russia have the financial power & infrastructure to properly take advantage of its own resources? If not, then a symbiotic relationship with the US makes sense..
comment in response to post
Nazis joining forces to save us all against the *checks notes* “Nazis”. Unfortunately very predictable, given the justification for Russia invading Ukraine. Won’t be difficult for the US to garner support for this through X & a now free from factchecking Facebook. It’s frighteningly all adding up…

Feeling exactly as you described. The “we’re not allowed nice things” feeling is pretty strong about these next two games.

Game state surely comes into play. An early goal either way completely changes everything. We score early, they have to play, we could pick them off, they could equally give us a game. They score first, they’d surely try to contain and frustrate us. I’ve honestly no idea what to expect tonight

These things fall in place for other clubs all the time. My leedsy brain can’t help but think things are going almost too well, though.

A fair take. Copy in also my worry about us 😂

Decent early season, but I notice a lot of the stat boys like to project contrary opinions. Boro a prime example. I unfollowed a few “experts” ont dark place, as they started to annoy me. One fella in particular who seemed to decide he was no longer a Leeds fan once Bielsa left. I won’t name names.

The weirdest part of this is that Norwich is actually a very nice city. Annoying as hell football club, but a nice city nonetheless.

It’s just wild. I can’t get my head around it. Just shows you don’t need to be that good at all to be much better than the rest. They go up, they get utterly dicked every week.

Luckier, I’d argue. Ipswich were actually pretty good. Sheff U are consistently shite, yet the opposition just keep missing against them.

Very true. But the stars suggest they’ve been the better side.

I had the misfortune of ending up in an argument with that prick once. Incredibly black & white thinking. The old trope of dishing out the antisemite accusation towards anyone and everyone who has the audacity to question Netanyahu & the IDF. There are no nuances with that twat.

Why so little being made of the inevitable misinformation problems of Musk & in effect Trump owning the biggest AI platform? This shouldn’t be allowed to happen anyway. A symptom of nationalism & national divisions. The internet needed a global regulation agreement decades ago.

Classic! We e got one of those snes minis quite a few years ago. Kids also took to streetfighter as well. Had to intervene once when one said to the other “shall we play real life stretfighter!”

Felt like we had the better of them to me. I remember feeling like it was an excellent lesson in game management at the time… then the thing happened.
