They should really use some type of ratings system for users. Like you rate an uber driver and they rate you. Users who receive low or bad ratings should be limited in responding in some way.We don’t want to stop value added and fair discussions but need to restrict the mean or non value added input

Need more feel good comedies and this is it. Can’t wait. Mel Brooks is the best.

Agreed. Also by putting restrictions on presidential power while being president who be a huge show of greater good vs power grab. Put big changes in the bill - term limits for all including justices, physical and mental annual testing, financial disclosures and no stock trading to start.

Joe, since you talk to folks are any Ds taking about a broad set of federal ethics and other governmental changes for all federal officials and judges. I’m surprised no one has started to talk about the changes we need to clean up our federal government once Trump is gone.

Everything he says is a lie. He says no parade and look what took 5 seconds to find a parade.

The question is but what? During his tenure as president we have experienced multiple negative events for America and they are at a historic perspective. Covid, George Floyd riots, Jan 6, multiple impeachments and now Ice riots. What is the “but” outside of tax breaks or something more social

Harry, you should sue them for endangerment and mental anguish. Why not?

Give me numbers to support the claim. Reporters need to ask for supporting data and the source of the claims or you cut them off. We let all of the pols D and R say whatever without challenging them to support their claims. If you say fraud tell me the data. If you give data ask for the source.

I just can’t grasp the incompetence and stupidity of so many members of this administration. The Sec of Navy doesn’t know the date of the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Sec of Defense has no idea who signed this program into law. If they worked for any company other than Fox they would be fired.

Question- why can’t they wait for 2026 midterms to attempt the merger and avoid settlement and FCC decline for now. If Dems take control investigations should start if FCC takes some type of invalid action?

Also, when Democrats eventually take back the presidency and congress why would they work with those law firms or companies. They will and should be looked down on going forward.

More evidence of capital flight from the United States.
The dollar usually rises during global economic turmoil, as part of a “flight to safety.” But the dollar is falling against Asian currencies, indicating the world no longer thinks the dollar or US bonds are safe.

I’ll state this again, what they do with the new aircraft carrier Doris Miller. How can you honor him without acknowledging that he was black & that he was limited in how he could serve because of his skin color. You can’t honor him without telling his whole life’s story. Any reporters out there?

Phillies fan here. That was a good game. I definitely expect these two teams to meet in the NLCS. Phil’s have to get some more bullpen help though. Also don’t try to steal on JT. His offense is diminishing a little but still great defender.

Good point but also about 35% didn’t vote at all. So they either couldn’t vote or didn’t feel that his presidency was concerning enough to vote against him.

Great write up of this story. I feel sorry for the pilot and disgusted at Marine leadership.

I’m curious to see what they do with the new aircraft carrier Doris Miller. How can you begin to honor him without acknowledging that he was black and that he was limited in how he could serve because of his skin color. You can’t honor him without telling his whole life’s story.

What is amazing about all of this is that it is more evidence to the conspiracy theories about Trump being compromised by the Russians. I’m not a big conspiracy person but the usual conspiracy folks are awfully quiet about some that really stands out.

I keep thinking that he should be removed but then what precedent does that set for any other Gov (R or D) from removing a mayor. You need to set a high bar for removal or it becomes an easy political move in this insane political environment.

I don’t know how no one has sued them so far. His name is toxic for half the country and he is the face of the company. He is directly impacting the stock value. How is that allowed to go on.

100%. This is what the American people voted for. We seem to vote now for people who scream the loudest or hate/blame others for their problems. Too Americans don’t seem to care about morales, actual problem solving or actually learning more about the politicians they are voting for.

This is all insane. Not one man or country should be able to name international landmarks. Apple, Google etc should all utilize the international naming standards, so we don’t get random name changes. I’ve said it before but I now expect the name to go back and forth based on what party is in office

For a party & president that yelled, protested & attacked the capitol because of a stolen election I have not heard of any EOs or investigations to look into strengthening our election process. So the only action taken so far is to shut down a team trying to ensure that our elections are safe???
comment in response to

So, to summarize the R strategy for elections. Focus on a tougher voting process like voter ID to other steps that make it harder for US voters but completely disregard risks of foreign interference. That is an odd strategy for a party that is so concerned about election integrity.

I would be curious to see a breakdown of support for a separate tariff on Mexico vs Canada. You can understand the focus on Mexico but Canada seems like an idea that’s way out of right field. What data do they have on Canada that warrant the same level of tariffs as Mexico?

Shouldn’t Democrats right now make it known to all businesses that make settlements or other shady deals with Trump that they will hold hearings on potential illegalities?

I don’t know how any Canadian citizen would let Trudeau get away with any simple agreement now. Trump comments that we don’t need Canada I would guess would draw some anger.

Congrats & good luck! It’s been a long time since I’ve been in the working world but still look back very fondly at the relationships that got started those early years and good times (just a few happy hours) we had. It can be stressful but learn from each moment and enjoy the positive experiences.
