In another era, he would have worked the boxing and wrestling tents of traveling circuses, absorbing the blows and collecting a paycheck.

He is like a great convoy ship from a distant past, advancing steadily through the cold seawater.

JJ and staff have to be crafty too with a platoon of short minute bigs: Hayes, Koloko, Wood, Morris, and Jemison. Use your fouls wisely guys and make your opponents feel the pain.

I will miss him. He was having a terrific season. Last night, before the news broke, I was thinking about how well the Lakers coped in NYC and DC without him, but also how much I was looking forward to his return. I was just about to go to sleep with that in mind and then the news broke.

It's gonna be a huge adjustment for fans. But appreciation will build once they see his dominance on both ends.

Thought they spoke last night? Dallas isn't sleeping on this trade lol. They posted pics a couple hours ago.

Is Rob waiting for team to arrive back in LA before making a team statement?

I'm still feeling the whiplash. I'm honestly having trouble forming a reaction.

The game is blacked out on League Pass in Austin. So I'm having to watch the box score.

They just came out flat in the second half. No sense of energy, slow to get back, lots of missed shots. Nuggets are the Lakers' bogeymen.

That's the problem. It's only motions. Government ethics are largely principles, not laws, and regardless, Trump breaks the law like most people breathe oxygen.
