I’m done with winter. Everything is a sheet of ice now. The wind is so bad it’s knocking down power lines.

Here are two photos: the Santa Chiara chapel at the V&A, which I had to myself for a good 20 minutes last summer; and my dog, ready for a car ride

Ok but for real I went there last year with a friend of mine and convinced her to get rwrb based on that description and had to pretend I had very normal feelings about the book

Had a very rough week with a semi-burst pipe and no heat (both are fixed!) BUT I am going to see my favorite band tomorrow night

My other dog Henry is 14, can’t hear the repair guy, and is just happy to be included and is currently napping facing the wall, otherwise I would send a pic. I don’t wanna disturb him ❤️

Here is my dog a moment ago, trying to convince me to let her downstairs to see the repair guy

The walking down the stairs is a lot but I love the mirror part when he steps back and the hem disappears into his thigh

I have to work today and shovel snow out of my driveway so hopefully I will be too busy to think about what’s happening

A few weeks ago I made the mistake of letting my phone make a noise and got this look in response (also my couch is now 90% blanket, because that’s how she likes it)

My dog is notorious for waking people up at 6 am so she can be brought downstairs to go lay on the couch for another 5 hours and then she gets mad if you make noise in the living room and disturb her.

In August I stayed at the Park Plaza in Waterloo directly across the street from the Lambeth North tube station. One stop away from Waterloo station, centrally located (maybe a 10 minute walk to Westminster Bridge), decent food options around. Hotel was great and adorable and even had a pool

Alex is from Texas so I submit Dr Pepper as an option. Or sweet tea. Texans love their sweet tea

Do it. If I didn’t have to finish packing, drop the dogs off at the sitters, and get on my flight I would stay in bed and read

60k+. I am a voracious reader and can get anything shorter than that read pretty quickly. Over 60k, I’m probably staying up too late to read it

He’s trying to not upend the status quo and protect the firm, which was the lesson hammered into him as the heir. It’s great conflict but doesn’t make him the ultimate villain

It’s easy to fall into tropes but Philip also had his dad die, his mom peace out, his sister go to rehab, a terrible grandmother, and I would argue even more pressure publicly because of being the heir. He’s a different person, of course he’d react differently and there would be conflict
