It’s the greenery that’s the clincher for me. It just makes it a much nicer place to be. Towns/Cities aimed at people’s needs and likes instead of just vehicles.

I like that a lot 👌

Drives me nuts with jeans. I’m a 32” waist but also 6’6 tall. Most 32 long/extra long fit but some are super tight round the waist, some loose, some short leg, some long leg. When I’ve measured them it’s like the tolerances are massive, like 20%?

100% this. A simple solution. Also, I’m married with two daughters and I’m still amazed that other men can’t put toilet seats down. It’s so basic.

I really would like a cargo bike next. This morning (on my commute back from nights. I’m a train engineer) I picked up 8 pints milk and some breakfast pastries for the family. I love doing ordinary tasks by bike. A cargo bike would increase that versatility.

Honestly, the notifications/emails seem to be pot luck? It wasn’t a small parcel to misplace either, it was this 🙈

Just had a similar experience with DHL-ecommerce. Parcel was due last Friday. The app said it was at the delivery centre, no delivery time issued. Then all of a sudden an email saying we’ve left a card cos you weren’t in? Checked location, it was 4 miles away from me? Finally delivered yesterday.

Home Bargains do a “replica” version. I say this as a fellow hair doper.

My Grandpa was a regular morris dancer in Oxfordshire (Wheatley). It’s always fascinated me so I couldn’t agree more with your daughter.

We worked out that dropping to one car (and many bicycles) would save us so much money. For any bigger trips (usually camping or music festivals) we can hire a bigger vehicle.

I’m a big fan tbh. It’s small, efficient, good value and does the jobs we can’t do by bike. Ok it’s not a Mercedes but it does what we need it to.

Bloody hell! That process sounds absolutely ridiculous.

The “Mario Cipollini technique.” I’m not sure how many TdF’s he even finished? Probably none?

Meanwhile, when I have to drive, it’s in this (a 951kg EV)…

What a beaut! I maintain the 576XX locos & sleeper set down here in Cornwall. Nice change to see one with another colour scheme in my feed.

It’s been since she had reconstruction post cancer treatment. It sucks and also sorry you have to deal with it. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone. 😢

My wife is having a flare up at the moment. 3/4 days in. They usually last 5-7 days.
