I hope is up to the job when Iran unleashes the sleeper cells. I have zero confidence in Trumps police state to protect us from real threats, but they're doing a fine job of shutting down the engine of our economy, our immigrant communities.

Trump is the absolute worst president to have in a time of crisis, or any other time. He us a treacherous coward who is using our military to prop up his pathetic little ego.

We're showing up, but where are Obama, Clinton, Bush and Biden. Where is the outrage from our retired flag and general officers. I guess their silence tells us that we're on our own.

Where is the outrage from our former presidents and the retired flag and general officers? Are they afraid of losing speaking engagements? Will they stand on the ashes of our democracy and say "I told you so". We need their voices now!

I visited the Portrait Gallery when I was in DC for the Unite for Veterans rally on the mall. I made sure to render Trump with appropriate honors 🖕
His scowling ugly face was a stark contrast to the other presidents.

General Mattis, General Kelly, please speak out against this outrageous abuse of our beloved Marine Corps!

Trump is a treacherous coward who is using the military against our own citizens. Trumps shameful and violent police state is the greatest threat to our national security.

This reminds me of something that Kissinger said about the Iran-Iraq war in the 80s, Too bad they both can't lose. I guess in the end, the citizens lose because of these childish oligarchs.

Hypocracy and projection are core Republican values. I used to distinguish between MAGA and Republicans, but that line has disappeared. Republicans with courage and morals have been voted out or quit.

This is why blanket immunity, pardon power and executive orders should be removed from the executive branch. Trump is a treacherous coward who is the greatest threat to our national security.

Polygraph Trump, but he is so accustomed to lying that it would be a flat line.

I agree, but Trump and his stupid spawn don't deserve a response. Let's stay focused on the real damage that the Trump criminal enterprise is wreaking on our democracy.

More noise to distract from his anti-American and criminal activities. Keeping the masses focused on cultural wars while he, his cronies, and the religious right rape and loot our country.

Biden is a good man who served his country well. This is more than we can say for Trump and the cuckolded Republicans in congress. God bless Joe Biden

He sounds like an ideal Trump voter. Trump says he supports Israel but accepts lavish gifts from regimes that support Hamas and funded the attacks on our country. Trump is a treacherous coward who will sell his own family for the right price. Maybe he already has.

Trump jails college students protesting Israels actions in Gaza, but accepts a $400m jet from sponsors of Hamas.
Where is the outrage from the Republicans, our former presidents, our retired flag, and general officers? All should condemn Trumps cozy relationship with terrorist sponsors.

Did Trump tell his nephew that his disabled son should just die? I may have the quote incorrect, but it was something typically awful.

Another day, another lie in the firm of executive order.
Trump is why we must limit the powers of the president. He exactly what George Washington feared would happen to the presidency.
Eliminate immunity, pardon power and executive orders. Put the power back the hands of congress.

Trumps attack on our military continues. I imagine he will target those facilities in blue states, just as W did in the early 2000s. There are virtually no military bases in New England. Russia must be thrilled that the USA has so many stupid people willing to vote against our own nation interest.

Trump and his criminal enterprise are steadily butchering our democracy. They are not even trying to hide the flagrant disregard of the constitution and the rule of law. They are accomplishing this with the complicity of a cuckolded Republican congress, who has relegated their power to a tyrant.

This geriatric old fuck is just on a nostalgic revenge tour. I'm expecting him to declare that Valentines Day will be renamed Alfonse Capone Victory over Bugsy Moran Day. For a guy who claims to love law enforcement, he sure does embrace criminals.

Has anyone alerted ICE to the illegals in Mar a Lago? I'm not sure of Melanomas status, but I imagine there are more than a few underpaid or unpaid immigrants working in the kitchen and cleaning the white trash resort. They may even find a few Russians guarding OUR national security documents.

Trump stole nuclear documents and took them to his white trash resort in Florida. He was not held responsible. DoJ doesn't want to make their traitorous boss look bad.

Any objections from the Republicans? Nope. They're all cuckolded stooges. Anything from our former presidents? Former military leaders? The silence is deafening. Are they waiting to stand on the ashes of our democracy and speak up?

The Trump criminal enterprise is involved in kidnapping adults and children. Since he owns the "justice" system and no one in Congress and no state governor is preventing these crimes, when will the International Criminal Court charge him?

Not my house. Where I live, the chances are unlikely, but I imagine a lot of people think this. I am expecting some homeowner to defend their property with their weapon; then we'll see what the Stand your ground and Second Amendment crowd does. I suspect that they will support Trumps police state.

Trumps police state strikes again. I expect nothing from the cuckolded Republicans, but where are our former presidents? Where are Mattis, Petraeus, Kelly, McMasters, McRaven, McChrystal? Are they waiting to speak out from the ashes? Are they in fear of losing speaking engagements?

Of course things are worse under the misogynistic Trump Reich. This insecure coward and his stooges fear strong women and seek to subjugate them to make themselves seem more powerful. I am the proud father of two strong women and a granddaughter who is a force of nature. They are my legacy.

Trump is terrified of strong, competent military leaders, especially women and people of color. Their strength, character, and selfless devotion to our country reinforce his insecurities as a failed businessman and draft dodger. Trump is a treacherous coward and a national security threat.

Admin V, this is very much like my experience as a southern Baptist kid.
I grew in NW Florida, the Redneck Riviera. As a teenager I went to Bible school, and read the Bible. It didn't take long to figure out that the church was not following the stuff I was reading. Thanks for the nice article.
