I was in the army for 31 years. I have advanced degrees and half a decade of combat experience. I’ve worked at all echelons of command except the Pentagon itself, and spent two decades in special operations. If asked, I’d decline the SECDEF position for lack of experience. This guy is a JOKE

We have both problems.
Republicans see those people as an opportunity, and message accordingly.
We see the same people, call them stupid, deplorables, garbage and show them with our condescension no empathy for the working class or lack of access to education.
We are creating our own problems.
